An Elite in no way an equal to Master Cheif. Elites are as strong with a better sheild. Master Cheif is faster and smarter than them. Samus is stronger than all of them, she can rip and tear through walls and enemies. She uses the Speed Boost and the Screw Attack to do those things. We already know she is faster and has more dexterity. She is also way more intelligent and partially psychic, as players will understand when playing a Metroid game.
If you've played a 2-D Metroid, you'll know that some of Samus's beams can pass through walls. One possible scenario is Samus with the X-ray visor blasting enemy through the walls.
And Yes, a Warthog would bounce off of Samus and Samus would bounce backwards. Have you seen the size of some of the Bosses she fights? Her armor sheild has always held strong, even when she is getting crushed by something. A Warthog would definitly be totalled hitting her.
You Halo worshipers must get it through yours heads, Samus's suit is superior to Master Cheif's. It has no limit to the power it can acquire, it can keep getting better no matter what. In Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, her fully upgraded Light Suit would receive "bee sting" damage from a projectile weapon in Halo 2. (One shot from the Sonic gun or one missle and Master Cheif would be vaporized, I don't care how strong or cool you think he is)

what about the big stone boss in metroid prime? doesn't it roll over samus and damage her?

of course it damages... thats only slight damage though... but arena is talking about fairly severe damage ( or getting killed instantly ) from those kinds of impacts.. and with samus that doesnt (and probably wont) happen

Also.. Im not sure where you get the idea that chief is faster than samus.. you obviously havent seen samus do her energy shadow dash in super metroid.. she breaks through like 12 feet of stone (and burning up fairly thin ground under her feet) like it was tissue paper (in the areas that are meant to be revealed, since GeoMod is pretty much a red-faction exclusive technology)

Okay now I need to make something clear, I never said that MC's armor was made up of 7 types of armor, I said it was made up of 7 LAYERS. And secondly, no offense to your intelligence or anything, but don't you think if they made the gamr realistcly, then she would die a lot more, being crushed by something, bassicly means that she is gettign killed, and what your saying is that a shield can hold off 7 ton's of travelling metal, and she won't feel anything. WELL THEN I WONDER WHY SO MANY PEOPLE ARE EVEN AGRUING ABOUT THIS, I MEAN OF COURSE THE IMMORTAL WILL WIN. At least the make the Halo games realisticly.

And I forgot this in my last post, SaTsuJiN, you make a very good point, she does have her shadow dash, but does she use it for every single piece of her movement? I think what we were talking about is just the overall speed, without "spells."

There's a point that I need to make though... that is one technology that was not often seen(or never) again in other Metroid games, and the fact that Samus CANNOT recharge in a battle. She can't exactly run her ass off to a recharge room
The Chief's armour comes with a RECHARGABLE shield. As I have said, even if he fights like a total wimp, it won't matter if he still wins.

About your point on their running speeds: Samus's speed booster is a special technology that allows her to run up to 30 kph. Chief doesn't really have that kind of technology in his suit, he runs because he's been running 8(quickly calculated)miles a day since age of 6, rain or shine, snow or heat. Even deep freeze.
His armor's strength components help him, yes. But he could already run at like, Donovan Bailey speed before the armor, now it's even faster.
Kelly could whip Samus in a 100 m footrace. Hope you're reading this, Robo.
Actually MC could still win in terms of speed...how long again did you have to hold the run button down to gain Samus's speed boost again in Fusion and ZM? 4 seconds? 5? The Chief runss at a constant speed of 35 kph, Kelly at 55.
And don't tell me about the "Halo" book crap doesn't matter. It does. Background information is quite useful here. It was approved by Bungie first, remember?

The Chief basically jogging lightly in the games, if he were running full out the aiming would be way too awry.

well you have to admit.. they couldve had a feature where you lower your weapon and do a short burst of speed... those maps are sometimes too big for a light jog

About MC's shield technology, I know it recharges and that does give him an edge in battle but you all seem to think it's an instant fix. It insn't it takes time to recharge otherwise you're basicly immortal and that ruins the game. even if it is upgraded in Halo 2 this rule still applies. If MC is hurt by a weapon his shield power drops in chunks. Samus at full power however can take a massive amount of abuse before death. MC's recharge ability only comes into play if he can constantly dodge Samus' attacks and I don't think he can. and on the subject of vehicles do you honestly think Samus will just stand there and let herself be run over? No she's going to dodge around she's going to jump over the Warthog and attack when she can, and if MC can take down a convent ghost with a machine gun Samus can take down a warthog with some well placed missiles and charge beams.

My last post was made when I was "half-asleep" (I am not talking physically). I guess that I need to elaborate on that post.

I trashed talked because I want you to trash talk me back. I do not and never cared if people play Halo games 24/7, because I was recently playing Halo 2 Live 24/7.
As for the Spartan similarities, you have to understand what each enemy in Halo represents and the aspects of how it relates to the theme of the X-box and it's players in order to understand why history is very similar. I could start a discussion on this if someone wants me to.

Yea, even if Samus doens't know where he is and uses visors or crap, chief can just hide in a hollow log or something. Echo and heat visors don't work then.

Yes but since both of them got uber technology, I believe hiding would be useless.. and isnt this battle upon the assumption that they are both willing to battle *and are aware of this battle and the hostile intentions*.. that would basically throw away the hiding factor. Thats why I still think we need to set a stage of combat that everyone can agree on 😬
