Master Chief vs Samus Aran

And you think bullets are stronger than a cone of plasma being launched at someone. I'm surprised to see that you think that roughly 17000 years in the future that we would be using weapons with the same power as bullets and machine guns. I mean come on in the past 2000 years we have advanced from swords to nukes so imagine what a race could do with almost 10 times that amount of time. Also we don't know that Cortana could hack Samus. Maybe it's the other way around. Her suit has so far been able to hack every single piece of data that she has come across so that is really not an option for either of them. Samus has been shot by bullets and they did almost nothing to her, so chief would never have enough clips to kill her. If she really wanted to she could use the wavebuster short circuit his suit and then kill him (that is if the wavebuster hadn't killed him already).

If Mc can use cortana Samus can use hyper beam, Phazon beam or her ship right??

Any way samus only need to shoot the upgraded wave beam (the constant purple beam that requires 5 missiles) to kill or make it explode..

cortana is standard equipment .....

and lets remember.... SA suit got hacked easy... Theres an enemy that hacks her through her guns aiming in MPE... Cortana would shut her down in seconds...

Maybe for a moment but samus has a good back up system and she can still move around its not like she dies. Then she shoots the crap out of cortana so it doesn't exist anymore

you can't shoot the crap out of cortana... and once she restarts her systme she gets hacked again.... seeing as SA doesn't know how to combat the enemies attacks its a fair bet she couldn't stop cortana either..

and in the 3 seconds she takes to restart she would get railled... true she prob wouldn't die first time... but she would get it again... and again...

But we still have no assurances that Cortana would be able to hack Samus's suit. Just judging by the technology of Samus's time alone, Cortana would have no chance of hacking Samus.

And Samus would likely be able to destroy Master Chief with the wave beam, before Cortana would be able to hack Samus's suit, Cortana doesn't even know how Samus's technology works!

And Hit, all those Halo fans that you were talking about earlier, weren't they the ones who claimed that Samus would lose because she is a woman on the first couple of pages on this thread? That just goes to show how "educated" some of them are.

she hacked the main systems for the covenant... you keep on about chozo tech being advanced... so how come SA doesn't have shields? why isn't she strong? why doesn't she have an on board AI that can hack? just by cortana alone MC could be perceived as being more advanced then SA... Face it... MC mods SA ass into oblivion..

Cortana doesn't hack all the way though halo as there would be nothing todo otherwise...
She can even duplicate her self millions of times to crash a system... She could wreck SA suit...

Compared to the SA fans who tried to use metroid cheats as proof that sa has abilites outside of her suit.. No... They had a point that MC was stronger then SA cause he was a man...

And might I add, that all of the duplicate Cortanas have nowhere near the abilities of the original. Wait, so you're basing the advance technology of Master Chief's time based on Cortana? 😆 Talk about telling half-truths. So tell me what do you consider Samus never running out of ammo being? To me that alone shows that Samus has more advanced technology than the Master Chief. He'd be dead the minute he has to reload. And no, they did not have a point that Master Chief is stronger than Samus because he is a man.

Samus also has Adam, a computerized CO, I think. So you think AI shows better technology than being able to replicate the brains of people. I know Cortana maybe based on the Dr.'s brain, can't think of her name, but Cortana was still a different entity and acted differently. Adam was a perfect replica of the brain he was based on.

No the point of that statment is when you study one aspect of a game you get a misleading result... SA never runs out of energy for her primary guns... wow... Chief never runs out of shield recharges in the game!

Has it ever been stated that SA will never ever run out of gun energy?? how come she needs energy modules for her health??? Why can't she generate enough energy to recharge her health?? 😆

Just cause SA has more guns and health doesn't mean the fights auto hers...! seeing as thats the only point you guys are making its quite feeble compaired to the chiefs abilites....

And when has SA suit ever hacked anything as complicated as what Cortanas done?? Her duplicates were shoddy as she was full of info.. She had taken on all that info from the covenant... If she hadn't got all the info she would of done alot better...

First thing, I think it's pretty safe to say that Samus outstrips the Chief in almost every category. You seem to think that because the Chief's shields are able to recharge, that automatically means that it cancels out that Samus doesn't need to find more ammo, but you're wrong.

I think you will find that the Chief needs to find ammo much more often than Samus needs to find health. Samus, again, has much more powerful technology. Take the fact that if the Chief were to stand still for five seconds he would be dead, for Samus she would simply lose maybe one energy tank, maybe a little less. Your arguments about how Samus can't recharge her health are BS, I could just as easily say why can't the Chief fart bullets out of his ass and use those, instead of picking them up off the ground. You even just admitted that Samus has better guns and health.

It's also not as feeble as you think, while they may not decide the whole battle, do you really think that weapons and health are meaningless? And the only "ability" that Chief has that Samus doesn't is that he is a little stronger, though Samus's arm cannon does look like it would pack quite a punch....

And I never said that Samus would hack Cortana. All I said was that I doubted that Cortana could hack Samus. Cortana's duplicates would have been shoddy regardless, Cortana even said that her duplicates were nowhere near as powerful as her, even if she wasn't so full of information they would have still been half-assed, maybe a little better. Lastly, do you really think that Cortana will have enough time to even get to know Samus's suit before Samus blows up the Chief with her wave beam?
