No i think that they should begin in Maze and have to find each others. But Samus just double jumped and came up so she could see all over the maze and then she sees Mc running around and so she shoots away a Sonic boom. Samus walks to the corps of Mc and find that their is no corps their. "Guess again" says Mc and starts shooting at Samus, Samus does a maneuver to avoid the bullet storm, She shots with the Wave beam and gets a direct hit. Mc lies with the face down, Samus walks towards Mc, when she is about to shoot the final shot Mc flips over and cuts Samus with the power sword, Samus looks at the damage and says " how pathetic, your sword did only a deep scratch on my armor". Samus turns into morph ball and starts to spray bombs and power bombs all over the place, when their is no Maze left she looks around with hope to find the corps of Mc, but she couldn't find him so she returned to her ship and found it pretty damaged. Samus turns on the X-Ray and checks the area for Mc, she finds him sitting in a litle cave a bit from the ship
She shoots a super missile and destroys the whole cave. When its finally over she goes to the ship and turns on the self repairing, suddenly she notes the boulders that blocked the cave started to move. "Dammit, i thought you where dead" says Samus with anger in her voice. " No i was just relaxing a bit" Mc says with honor. He pick up he's battle rifle ans starts to spray shoot at samus, Samus avoid some of the bullets and shoots A few missiles but only one of them did hit Mc. Samus looked at her armor and saw that her right shoulder where hit by two bullets on her weak spot. "Now I'm pissed of" she yells. She try to move her arm canon up so she can shoot him but fails and fall down on the ground, Mc where hit by the Missile and cracked a bit of the armor but he didn't have any serious damage. Mc walks towards Samus and Points the gun and say "This is the part where you regret that you where born". "No this is where you die" Samus says and turn her arm canon up against Mc and Shoots a Black hole that swallows and rips apart every bone in Mc body. Samus crawl back to the ship and repair her armor and wait for the ship to be ready to take of.
End of story.

Actually, we wupped the chief's ass in the sp vs. elite thread. And most, if not all, of our points have shown how much better Samus is than the Chief. That is an opinion that Samus would die, the thing is that she is nowhere near as weak as the Master Chief and his shields only come up to about 3/4 of one of Samus's energy tanks. Not to mention all of the weaponry that Samus has.......
And Hit, I wanted this thread resurrected for more arguin, not to flaunt how much better Samus is than the Chief and how she would kick his ass. 😛 But nobody seems to be arguing for the Chief....
Yes, it was a non stop ridicule ..... on Master Chief. And Samus getting crushed for 80 pages is an opinion. Personally, I thought that the Chief got his ass handed to him, judging by the poles alone, not to mention that Samus had much better points in her favor, in m opinion. And all the Chief fans up and left too, not just the Samus ones, they got bored.

Cortana hacks Samus's suit and renders her immobile.
Chief simply sprints up and beats the tar out of her before her suit reboots.
1.) Cortana was able to use wireless broadcasting to get into High Charity(Covenant HQ)'s security network. Which was, by the way, not directly connected to Chief's suit either.
2.) She created mayhem in a few scant seconds within the security network. Which houses a lot of replicate Covenant AIs and security measures. By lot, I mean a 'shitload', as it is the place where the Prophets hang out and any form of danger, no matter how minor, are eliminated.
3.) If she can create mayhem in the 'Fort Knox' of network security in a few scant seconds, I'm sure she wouldn't have a problem with a simple battle suit.

First point noted. Your other points aren't quite as good. For point 2 you are basically explaining how she could get through the covenant's AIs. That's true, she was able to do it, but I really doubt that the covenant are anywhere near as sophisticated as the Chozo or as technologically advance, they had to steal their technology from the forerunners and even then they were still no using it right.
For your third point you make it sound like Samus's suit is a hunk of meta. It's not, it's complicated. Congratulations that Cortana was able to screw complicated network security in a few seconds, but Samus's battle suit is not "simple." It was specifically designed for her by a race that had long mastered war. I doubt the Cortana would be able to get through the systems of the one of the most technologically advanced races ever.
Plus, the humans in Samus's time are probably more technologically advance than the humans of the Chief's time so already there human computers could probably handle Cortana, I mean c'mon the humans in Halo are still using bullets.

What you suggested is that the Covenant are lacking in their security measures. This is wrong. It's not a lack of effort and time, but rather Cortana's skill. She was a "smart AI"(which means that she's programmed to be creative), and she was designed for software intrusion. She was literally born to hack. As Stalker 360 just said, she plays with ONI(Office of Naval Intelligence)'s security measures simply out of sheer boredom.

Which is what they had in mind while they made Samus's suit. It's augmented to fit several capabilites and upgrades and as you said, very complicated. But it was meant to deal out damage, more than protect. I doubt that the Chozo's top priority was preventing the suit from getting taken over by an outside force, in this case Cortana. Notice how I said "different" weapons, not "more advanced" weapons. Why? Because it's more a show of power, not the technology used. Look at the Covenant, they're an excellent example of this. I wouldn't choose a plasma rifle over a Battle Rifle, by any means!
And as for counterintrusion software from the humans in Metroid: Counterintrusion software keeps getting updated because there are new ways, different methods. Which is the case with Cortana: Remember, she was meant to be "creative", to adapt and be innovative. I think that the humans from the Halo time period are more advanced in that aspect, since they were able to produce an AI that was capable of cracking the Covenant battlenet in seconds. What have the humans from the Metroid time period shown to prove their superiority? Nothing.
