There's nothing wrong with having violence on TV, for the simple reason that parents shouldn't be letting their kids watch that stuff anyways.

No, in fact, I think there should be more violence on TV just to spite irresponsible parents who are to busy watching "Everybody Loves Ramond" rather then monitoring what their kids are doing.

I am acouse talking about younger kids.Ages five to ten.When most parents do pay attention to what there kids are watching.Inleast acouse they both work and all.
But that is another subject.So my question is are those parents been over protected?I mean just because something happens on these cartoons does not mean your kids would do them!

Violence on TV - see this is whats perculier. Many things get sensored from TV as being too sexualy explicit or way too violent - yet Bible everyone can read - the one book which is full of sex and violence. Cruel irony.

I would let my kids watch the news. So that they can see it with their own eyes that this world is full of crime and violence. Is a great introduction for kids to see the crappy world we live in.

what I said is that all this crap of "you have a problem with him, then you get one with me" is good for retards, if you got a problem with someone use the ignorefunction. It is why it's there for. Then you can just enjoy the forums without people you don't like bothering you.

and no you didn't say anything about banning tv shows, I did. If people find there is too much violence on the tv, their first step would be to ban certain things (before definitly pulling the plug on it). That is why I mention it, PLEASE read posts more carefully next time.

and about your last two phrases:
flaming is prohibited, making a thread will only result into it getting closed... and perhaps the creator banned for stupidity 😉

and saying "keep it out of this thread" only works if you are a mod or admin, you as member have no power over this
