yea and with me and bilbo on same sides now (i hope bilbo... 😄) you dont want to go the hostile route. PVS can handle himself, as youve all seen, and theres really no point to have to go there. Now saber, i gave you your dues since you actually made some compelling arguements/comments, but really, it seems like your better at making "fun" discussion rather than "battle" posts. So for that, i wont slam you, just like bilbo was gonna "give me a warning" earlier.

Well, I had just posted that I was spent on this issue. But now a dumb**** has to come along (yes, I said 'dumb****'- how very childish of me) and threaten me? 😆

I spent years waiting before I made the jump to start posting on a forum- why? because of all the bitchiness and god-complexes that frequented them. I've been posting for about 2 days now, and I'm already done with a few of you.

Darth Subjekt, I never had issue with you before this, but why did you have to threaten me? That was just plain silly. Thankyou for giving me my 'dues', and I hope you've enjoyed my 'fun' discussions as opposed to 'battle' discussions (whatever that means).

But for ****'s sake, I really thought I'd found a place to start discussing the ideas I've had on the mythology and allegory of the Star Wars films. But, like I feared, you have to deal with the in-fighting and power struggles of "I've got a bigger Internet dick than you". Well, have fun, boys and girls. Keep at each others throats. Continue to disuade anyone with a thought in thier head from coming on the boards.

Then you'll all have to power you've always wanted: bitching and moaning to yourselves.

you know what saber, i wasnt talking to you directly, so i dont know why all the hosility. And i didnt say you WERE hostlie before either, i was saying dont go there cause i actually liked what you had to say before. And since you have all this infinite wisdom, but yet you cant seem to muster what a "battle post" is, Ill be more than happy to tell you, and ill breakit down into music to make it clearer.
you have regular songs that you normally hear on radio and tv(your regular type posts) and then you have songs that are made for the sole purpose to diss or excuse me...INSULT someone(that would be the battle post.). And i thought by your original posts that you would actually stay up on your fun discussions. And what i meant by fun was, one that we could all discuss and get along about. But obviously you want to come back and attack ME?! are you f*cking nuts?! I was trying to get you out of the line of fire, but you messed that up real quick. So if you feel you have act like a kid, and take you ball and go ome, then good, the forum is better off. But dont try to start battles with people that try to stick up for you, or if you cant handle it. I tried to say close this thread this morning cause of all the shit it was starting, but it had to keep going.

Well, I agree on one item you bring up: this thread should now longer be continued. I'd not fuel the fire that gives certain people their very own 'delusions of grandeur'.

Maybe I'll post here again, maybe I won't. I really think that this board is the best out there on offer for Star Wars related chat- but in the same breath I still think it has some way to go. You have to be accepting of (apparent) new people to a board.

I think noobs need to just take a look at how the boards are run. See how we post and what is acceptable to post. On TFN, there are dozens of posts each day since the trailer came out. "Who is the guy in the trailer", referring to Tion Medon. God, do your research and stop posting garbage. I am not saying all noobs are like this, but many seem to be. This board was always good for some speculation and discussion. I joined this board after reading it for several months. I just didnt join and start posting stupid threads, like "Got Any ROTS photos?" like a lot of people do. I think we gained alot of noobs when the trailer came out. There must have been 100 people on this board at once. I have never seen that much ever.

This forum is still the best forum I have found and thus that is why I am a frequent contributor to it. I like the people here. Some have been rude and sarcastic to me, but I dont hold it against them. Others have been friendly and nice. I treat you guys the way I get treated. Scramba and JP have been nice to me, and well I treat them with respect as I do with the rest of you. And I know the forum will definitely pick up more discussions as the movie approaches.

Thus, cut the stupid thread making and dont ask dumb questions without doing research and there will be no more dumb problems and we all can just discuss and have fun waiting for ROTS.

as smegsaber said, yeah some people are just assholes and my choice to come back to this forum is i limbo, and i'm sure many would love to see me go, and others probably just don't give a flying f***, and that's fine.
