Where did he say this? I really can't picture him saying that another 3000 innocent people deserve to die because of some wacko's illogical problems with the way we this country is run. I doubt it was his intent to insinuate that what happened on 9/11 was acceptable, let alone endorsed and should happen again. Probably just said for shock value and to offend people who would be offended by it.
Everyone with a brain knows that we don't deserve another 9/11, nor does any other country deserve an attack that consciously kills 3000 innocent people out of blind hatred and cold blood. Because it IS important to understand why these shit heads hate us so much, I think that's what people were agreeing with this. No one in their right mind would agree with something that condoned 3000 innocent people dying.
Once we understand why they hate us so much then maybe we can use that to figure out how to stop another terrorist attack that takes the lives of 3000 innocent people that had nothing to do with whatever problem these sacks of shit have with us.
The more Iraqis are aware of American soldiers being abusive and failing to follow their own laws, much less international laws, the less likely they are to help either the Americans or any government that America supports. Abusive American soldiers are, in the long run, a detriment to American political goals. Second, allowing even small acts of abuse to go unpunished has a negative impact on discipline overall. When people know that smaller rules can be broken at will, it's a lot easier to cross the line and break larger ones, especially in matters such as this. A lack of discipline will led to soldiers committing war crimes.

PVS, whats said in that paragraph is the truth. It is painfully true. Noone is saying ''you deserve to die'' what it is saying is that there are REASONS for the hate Middle East especially has for America. And until certain Americans released this - you're never gonna move away from where you are now.

Exactly my point. When you have an army (some of whom are) committing atrocities, and at home a majority of the press and populace that says "Hey dont bad-mouth the troops" and scorn is poured on anyone who raises any concerns about freedom of speech - the perception is going to be either that all, or the vast majority of americans feel that way. Hence they are all responsible, hence all guilty.
If you dont listen to dissent, you will never understand why America is perceived the way it is.
