There is a site somewhere that has a bunch of the footage cut from that scene on it, but when my hard drive crashed and burned I lost it. 🙁

prolly cause he wants to re-release it and make even more money like how he's doing with the "ultra" edition of the OT, with all the deleted scenes. GL should be burned at the steak for his treachery.

I completely agree Subjekt, cant wait until the Super Mega Ultra Collectors Edition comes out...all 6 movies, tons of deleted scenes & who knows how many new changes added depending on GL's mood the day its finaled.......... for all you purisits out there, maybe he'll have Han shoot first again

can we PLEASE see a decent dooku/anakin duel that doesnt make them look like a couple of ravers at a nightclub just waving their glowsticks around? of coarse not.

I honestly dont why they cut alot of this stuff... I mean, due to Nat's acting I REALLY did not get that she was attacted to Ani at all, but when you see those deleted scenes of Padme with her family it becomes much more clear. I mean is anyone really gonna complain is SW is longer than 2 hours? Heck no! So leave it in!!!

yes, natalie had little no chemistry toward hayden imho. hopefully this will be different in ep3, but when they kissed on naboo, i could almost hear portman thinking "think about the paycheck...do it for the paycheck..."

😆 That raver line made me laugh, but you're right. Those scenes on Naboo annoyed me since it slowed down the movie. Dooku vs. Aniken wasn't a horrible fight but when they zoomed in on them and just showed the sabers glowing around their faces it was a little disappointing.

I hate to say it, but GL cares. Hear me out and tell me if this makes sense to you.

Ok, these are rounded numbers so dont jump on my shit...lets say SW is 2hrs, a theater is typically open around 12 - 14 hrs. If it were 2.5 hrs, thats 3- 4 times LESS it will play in a day, which ultimatly means less money for GL and LFL, also cutting down on opening weekend box office sales. Now 3 or 4 times doesnt seem like that much, but i know here movies are $7 and up north theyre even more expensive, ive seen up to 12.50 in alaska. You figure theres about 100 seats(give or take based on theater, stadium seating, ect), not to mention all the people that would stand in the back for a movie like SW. So do the math, at the least, thats $700-800 in just ONE theater.
Spread that all over the country and even world, thats a BIG loss that he just wont have,,,,
but dont get it twisted, i would love to see a longer SW, long as LOTR even.

I heard that the dual lightsaber scene in EPII was a lot longer and that it was cut from the scene to allow for it to me more intense in EPIII when Anakin gets really into it with dual lightsabres......

maybe in a REALLY small theater. i work at the movie theaters. we have 14 screens in all consisting of four 350 seatting and four 200 seating then six 100 seating. the big movies always get the big screens. thats the way MOST of the theaters are set up around the world.

i said depending on the theater...but you totally missed the point i was maing about the money.....do you agree with THAT?

So yet again American Capitalism rears its ugly head...

& as much as I love Hayden & Nat as actors and as their SW characters, that kiss at their wedding was ridiculously chaste. Reminds me of teh Pricess Bride when the Granpa says 'that kiss was the greatest kiss in history' or something to that effect. The wedding kiss is the polar opposite of that. I've seen kisses in Disney movies more passionate than that!
