THIS IS FUN! 😄

I think you're being a bit harsh really, I mean Umbridge was just trying to do her job, and she wasn't receiving any support from the staff or the students, thus she had to resort to measures which may appear harsh at first, but were the only way of gaining the respect she deserved. I say leave her alone, she's not that bad a lady!

😆 Respect? What respect? The only people who actually respected her was Cornelius fudge! And he turned out to be an idiot and ignored all the warnings of voldemort's return. and did you see what her stupid magical pen did to poor harry's hand! she hurt Harry! that's not respect! Why should anyone give her respect if she doesn't give respect to anyone else!?

shock Juniour memebers r r...weird

Poor Harry's hand! If he hadnt been so childish and followed the school regulations about shouting at teachers he wouldn't have had the punishment in the first place. It's far better than going into the Forbidden Forest, where Harry almost died, and if Filch had his way, he'd be hanging upside down in his office! And Snape was willing to poison both the students and Neville's toad Trevor! And to think you all complain about Umbridge!! I believe sitting in a nice, safe office with a soothing bowl of murtlap essence waiting for you in the common room is much more preferable.

harry wasn't being childish! Umbridge was being unfair and he got angry about it!

True, Harry was being a bit childish about things, but that still doesn't excuse Umbridge. She was a little too power hungry, trying to control everything. and she did set the dementors on Harry as well. what justification could she have for that?Snape had an excuse for not likeing Harry. Umbridge didn't beyond the fact that he kept saying that Voldy had come back, and that contradicted the ministry.

Umbridge bugs me.

the feeling is mutual.

Umbridge was simply looking out for the interests of the ministry - if everyone in the wizarding world thought that voldemort had returned, what kind of crisis would that have caused! Perhaps she went about it the wrong way going after Harry with dementors, but I believe she acted strongly because desperate times call for desperate measures! And to be perfectly honest, Harry is a bit of melodramatic cry-baby a lot of the time, I mean crying about Ron and Hermione bickering, and "oooo nooo I got zero marks off Snape again everyone haaaates me!!!" Perhaps he would have been better off without a soul if he's really that hated! Dolores comes from the latin word dolor, meaning grief I think,(studying A-level Latin I really should know, although I doubt it), and who can blame poor Dolores with all the grief she gets off everyone; Harry, the staff, the students... she was only trying to help the one man who had looked after her, Cornelius Fudge! I say you should all leave Dolores in peace, and let her get on with her job - it's easy being critical when you're not the one dealing with the pressure - shame on you all!

Ooook.....

Who are YOU to tell us who to hate and who not? Why don't you try and make a hating thread or something and see how that works out! 😠
Your opinions are rash and rude, shame on you.
Get the f--- out of this forum if you're going to diss the Potter series like that. Your opinion isn't appreciated here obviously.

Haha, that was a typical response from someone who takes everything too seriously haha. Actually, I would wager I like and know a lot more about Harry Poter than you, and as for, "dissing", the books, I wouldnt dream of it, being a great fan of literature. If I was to express a negative comment on a book, it would be objective and fair critical analysis, not "dissing" as you so eloquently put it. I prefer to look at the Potter books from different angles, and although I do ultimately believe the author to have created this character with the sole disposition to be disliked, I also believe that you shouldn't disrespect the books by simply palming a character off as one sided, for that not only insults the depth of the Potter books themselves, but assumes an inability of the author to create characters with depth. Kindly do not use profanity, even if it is only implied and not specifically written. Oh, and try and realise the posts for the light-hearted, different views on the aspects of a character they are. I believe I am well within my rights to express my opinions. Good day!
