Why do people use God as an excuse for their own stupidity and faults?

I mean seriously why do some people go around spouting "God would not like this, and God disapproves, and in God's eyes this is wrong..."?
Do you personally know God or his will?
If not than who are we to decide what God wants?

People use religion as a bullshit excuse for their own greed/ambition so they avoid all the blame. I mean, who takes responsability for what they do nowadays? 🙄

Basically, they feel a certain way, so to them that means god MUST feel the same way. They use is as a way of backing up their claims when they have nothing valid to back it up. "Why do you believe this?" "Because the bible said so" - Instant idiocy.

I believe in God, I've read the bible, I make my own decisions.

The bible is a guideline for life.

This bring us back to the homosexuality issue..
