No, Saturnia was a pagan holiday, Christmas is a Christian holiday, meaning the birth of Christ. So therefore christmas is just that, I'm saying it fell on the day that a pagan festival was celebrated so that is why some people believe it has Pagan origins.

Also it is to do with the calendar change from the Julian to the Gregorian.
