It has now been revealed that George Lucas has an idea to make more Indy films with Mutt as the lead character.
First review is out....

Hmmm ... the buzz so far is good ... but not great; personally, I'm going to try and stay away from reading any in-depth reviews, and make my own mind up come Thursday.
In a way, it's probably good that the reviews aren't over-hyping the film as a classic - it's never good to go into a film with your expectations so high that they can't possibly be met. "The Phantom Menace", anyone ... ?
Just as a slight aside ... is anyone else slightly annoyed that the Cannes premiere will (as far as I know) be the only one that is held for this landmark movie? I'm not sure about other countries, but I know for a fact that they were at one time planning to hold a UK premiere in London's Leicester Square yesterday (Monday 19th), only for it to be cancelled (presumably, in order to keep the focus on the Cannes world premiere). I gotta say, as a *massive* Indy fan, who would absolutely love to have gone to the film's premiere (even if it just meant standing outside the cinema with the assembled crowds, catching a glimpse of the stars, and taking in the atmosphere), I was pretty pissed off when I found out that the London premiere had been cancelled! I even *live* not too far from Leicester Square dammit 😒 !
Anyone else disappointed that their country won't be holding a premiere for "KOTCS" (except the French, of course 😛 )?
I just saw it and I won't spoil it for anyone. But I did really enjoy it except the CGI parts and the item/treasure he is searching for. Kinda I guess because I am old school Indy fan and these parts seem new. Also parts of this movie ties in to Raiders of the Lost Ark. About Shia LaBeouf, I thought he was was brilliant
This film gets 8/10 from me but this will change as soon as I see it the 2nd time around probably.
A big thanx to my Gf's company who paid for all of us to see it at a private viewing.
