I remember hearing they had plans for a actual movie few years back i guess that died.

THat's too bad, I always liked playing Duke Nukem. And I agree, the character is strong enough to make a movie about. Much better than say... Mortal Kombat or stuff.

Even Hitman and Tomb Raider had potential for movie franchises but they managed to stuff those up.

True... I am still griped about Tomb Raider myself. How can you screw up something like Tomb Raider with Angelina Jolie starring... everything is there! All you have to do is make all the wrong choices... I always thought that was impossible... But in Hollywood EVERYTHING is possible.

But Lara Croft was such an Indy rip off, that it woulda been tricky to do something new for fans of the games, that didnt tread on too many toes at Paramount, I guess..

That could worked.

(So long as there was no Gophers, naturally.)

(Unless they are in the movie soley to be to be fodder in a demonstration of a devastating new Nazi energy weapon before some kind of Reich committee, of course.)
