What is your problem with affirmative action? Do you feel we need something better or do you feel that minorities don't need any aid at all, they'll be fine on their own?

as for affirmative action, its a double edged sword imo. it helps minorities get jobs, which is great, but to do it at the expense of someone better qualified, no matter their race, is wrong imo.

Hmmm...there was a woman on TV just now who said that she voted for Rueben Studdard (or something along those lines 🙂) because he was a "brother". Now, if I went on TV and said that I voted (assuming that I actually gave a damn) for Clay Aiken because he was white, there would be an uproar.

i'm against organizations like the United Negro College Fund and generally all special scholarships for minorities.

If there was an equivalent scholarship fun for whites....there would be a huge uproar just like with the Ruben vs. Clay arguement above.
