Adoption isn't a right, and they have incredibly vigorous submission processes for adoption to begin with. Social services won't deny people with traffic violations the opportunity to adopt, obviously, but it's ultimately up to the state.
Likening a homosexual parent to a convict, in terms of responsibility in parenting is ludicrous.

So now gays adopting is equalled to ex-convicts having kids??
So much for any belief in rehabilitation – but, well.
Can ANYONE explain to me how homosexuals adopting or having a kid (gays and lesbian couples are known to find smart ways) can in any way be equalled to former prison in-mates having and/or adopting a child?
The former have, from a starting point, not done anything illegal or harmed anyone. The latter have spent time behind bars for doing something illegal which may have harmed someone.
So how can they be equalled?
WHAT confusion? Kids of straight parents turn out homosexual from time to time, so obviously the sexuality of the parents does not influence the sexuality of the child.

Hehehe. And we should also remember the large number of innocent people who are sent to jail by accident, or are in for lesser crimes. Granted, I doubt a murderer should be allowed to adopt, but to say murderers and gays> no adoption = Silly in my book.
And not all teens rebel against their parents, and those that do often mend the relationship eventually. And somehow I think a gay person might be able to understand if they did, after all, it is possible they went through tough times with their parents due to their sexuality.

Homosexuals can adopt as it is anyway, so I don't see the point in debating it?
Why shouldn't we let people and animals marry, what speaks against that, if both agree that is.
