i'm almost done reading the novella, secret window, secret garden, and the ending in the story is really different from what happened in the movie.
Spoiler:all i have left o read is the epilogue, which seems really different also when i flipped through it. anyways...just thought that the movie added a nice twist! ^.^
instead of morton rainey murdering his wife, barring her, and getting away with it; he gets shot by ted shortly after he drags amy out of the house and is about to kill her.
