Personally, I wouldn't have drawn any conclusions from that, rather than whenSpoiler:
Mort started talking to himself earlier in the film, as a little foreshadowing. Reason being, "Shooter" could have taken the screwdriver from Mort's house, killed the 2 people, and ultimately framed Mort for the killings, had Shooter been an actual person, which we didn't find out until the end. That said, it was a good movie, but it's suspense is pretty much spent after one viewing. Not that suspense is what Depp groupies care about, when it comes to buying his films on DVD. 😛
(Sorry about the double post earlier.)
Its not that it gives it away. Its more just the set up. I was looking for a twist (obvious from the previews and all the talk about how the ending is the important part). There was also the part where
Spoiler:At that part, I suspected the ending, but when the guy
that one guy said to the black guy that he had seen him but change his story and never mentioned that he saw him talking to somebody else.
Spoiler:I was all but positive. I talked to a friend who seen in theaters that is a movie guy like ourselves and he also said he figured out the end before it happened. Overall, I still liked it though. I think there was just too much hints towards the ending or something.
actually died of his screwdriver
My Review:
In watching this movie I was really suspensful not because the movie was tense but because I wanted to find out the ending.Once I got about halfway into the movie I was just hooked because I had to know. This movie is really good with a great performance by Johny Depp. When you first start watching the movie you dont really know what to make of it but as it goes along you began to see the puzzle piece together and thats really cool.I enjoyed it from beganning to end and its had some flaws like when
Spoiler:it never expanded on that and it just seemed like something put in there to drive the audience into the wrong direction and never get satisfaction.
the boyfriend was at the gas station and he said that most of what was going on was his fault
Overall😮verall this was a good movie that is worth picking up 😉
4/5
