I found Halo 3 to be a let down.

Reallly? I have been extremely happy with it so far, I have much play time on there, the online campaign is great.

I believe they used the working graphics engine for that one, meaning that it is direct in-game graphics in the trailer, not CGI as it was in the "starry night" trailer.

That's ridiculous...the most I have ever seen was like 400 000.

The number of online players displayed is pretty massive when in matchmaking.

Why open the can?

They were not the actual in game graphics. I saw the game in motion a lot while on vacation in Canada, it looked nothing like the trailer pictures you tried to pass off as in-game graphics, and this was on a huge, top of the line HD TV.

I've just realised that you are shin_gear, and am now questioning why I bothered.

I bought the game just recently, so that's the reason for the late reply. Also, want people who haven't bought this game yet to know what they will be seeing in third person.

Did I say those were? I said the ones you TRIED to pass off before were trailer pics, and they were. Those pictures above still do nothing to change the previous argument anyway, so I'm not sure why, months later, you came back all excited that you had discovered something, only to get whooped again.

Those pictures above are not the ones you used previously, and I love how when I went to get the links to prove it, you had deleted them.

What part of Canada did you visit?

Toronto/Mississauga/Brampton.

I "stayed" with family in Mississauga, but spent most of my time in Brampton. I first visited in...Dec of '06, for personal reasons, fell in love with the place, returned in the Summer of '07 for three weeks and Winter of '07 for a month. Amazing place, I plan to move there.
