No, not gonna happen... Chief will probably stop the ark and save the universe, blah blah blah, though... the covenant do have earth... so it is allready starting on a low note...

This is the last Halo game for this story arc. Chief is probably gonna save the day.

I was thinking that myself. They have to be relate to the humans somehow... I've always had the notion that the Forerunners were humans.

I think I read this on gamespot (or something after the halo 3 trailer came out) that the forerunner was an ancient alien race... not human

Yeah I know, I read the Fall of Reach and some of The Flood. I bought the new one last month but I didn't have time to read it yet.

Partial list:

-It would explain why 343GS was surprised that Chief didn’t know what Halo was for. He also said; “Last time, you asked me if it were my choice, would I have done it?” This might indicate that the Chief, in his armour, looked exactly like the Forerunner that might have set Halo off in the first place. Which might indicate his automatic title as the Reclaimer.

-343GS also said(During the Maw while he was hijacking the data aboard Pillar of Autumn): “To have a record of our lost time….” Keyword there is “OUR”.

-343GS also looks rather down upon the Covenant, calling them a something or other “Swarm”. Why couldn’t he have tried to use a Covenant soldier as a reclaimer?

-Tartarus used Miranda to try to activate Delta Halo.

-Forerunner construction looks oddly like human construction and is a high contrast to the colors and shapes of Covenant architecture.

-The Master Chief and other Spartans (Fred, Kelly) have had unexplained familiarity of Covenant controls. Cortana also seems to find Forerunner computer systems strangely “familiar”.

-It would also suggest why the Ark, the one remote location from where all the Halos could be activated, is located on Earth.
