Halo 3

Haha, not with hundreds of games supported whereas Steam only has a few.

Ok, They are saying a March 2007 Release for Halo 3.

But do we beleve it? I sure as Hell don't. Nactous & I have a bet on it's release date. He says Spring 2007, I say Not. I am expecting a late 2008 - early 2009 release.

I say fall 2007. It's the perfect time for the game to come out. Makes it in time to compete with PS3's MGS4. Besides taking that long to release Halo 3 will be too risky for Microsoft. Halo pretty much safeguards their success. Two years without a Halo is too much.

This is what I got:

Graphic Novel - Whenever the hell it comes out. Doesn't really matter

Book(s) - Spring 2007

Movie - Summer 2007 (I'm betting July sometime)

Game - Late Fall 2007 (Somewhere in the October to December area, for Christmas)

My predictions. 🙂

Besides that, anybody else think Cortana went off the deep end? Rampancy, it's called, in an AI.

And what about the Graveyard's Poem? Anybody else hear that? droolio

According to different sources Bungie is testing Multiplayer on Halo3. Keep your finger cross so that everything works fine. 😄

if they do allow customization in halo 3.. I dont want to be a master chief cut / copy / paste again... I'd like to be able to select from different armor parts and colors like foot armor / leg armor / body armor / helmet / arms / hands.. and so forth

Good idea. I'd also love to have Grunts, Jackals, Hunters, Brutes, Marines a-z skins. I know why they didn't have those in 2...but it'd be fun to run around as a grunt in a non-ranked game for giggles. Imagine the machninamataion, or however you spell it, that will come out of it.

Cortana could still have gone rampant, though. I don't think Gravemind would have any hand in that, anyway.

That's what seems to be the general consensus; at least, as far as I understand it.

True. There've been a lot of rumors flying around about that.

Could be. It sounds like him, I suppose. I think both options are possible at this point.

It sure as hell has Gravemind's stamp all over it, the way that she says those lines.

Exactly eight syllables in each. And a poetic theme around it too.

Even being a "Smart" (Creative) AI, I doubt that she has the capacity to compose verses. Especially after what she's been through in the first two games and in between.

I do think she might be able to do it, but I don't think she has.

The first part is interesting since Gravemind has defied Gods(Forerunners)--supposing he actually survived the first Halo activation-- and Demons(Master Chief)

The second part is a bit of a mystery to me because I don't see how Gravemind might have been the Chief's shield and sword...unless he is talking about when he lead the Chief to High Charity.

And the last one may be of him talking about how he has learned Master Chief's past and probably forsees his future. He could also be talking about humanity.

I dunno. I love to speculate.

That's the problem with Trilogies, you can only have three in one.

and just a question, what does it mean, "Rampant" exactly..I mean, how did Cortana go Rampant anyway?

I agree that some things have flaws in them, but the Bungie Team probably did most of the work. There were no pictures like that from the trailor, and they think that's not the same AR as in H1 he's carrying. They think the barrel is bigger and it will be more acurate 😬
