Firstly I'm 16 in October.
Secondly with my little rant on how old i reckon Lief and Jasmine were at the end of the series, was a THEORY!!
Not once did i ever say i was right, i mentioned several times this is from an estimate.
And you can't except the series to startes one after another, i mean between the end of "Return to Del" and the Beginning of the "Cavern of Fear", Lief had been searching the libary for an heir, thats going threw hundreds of paperwork, and he was almost assainated several times.(The test subjects of the Conversion Project).
And Marlien gave birth to her son, soon after Lief and Jasmine's wedding, meaning either the whole 3rd series took 8-9 months or she was already 6 months pregant when the series started meaning the series took 3-4 months.
The whole point of that rant was to try and get the idea across to some people, that the whole series took about 2 years, so... Jasmine wasn't a mother at 16. Someone asked whether she was and i answered.
Onlyifits_PG-13 theory on the time-line as such, was a good theory too.
But unless someone knows Emily Rodda personally, we'll never really know unless its mentioned in the Cartoon Series or in an interview.
(Yes I am aware that she is "surpose" to live in the Blue Moutains which is a half-hour drive from my place.... I just don't feel comfortable sending a letter or calling someone asking if they are the author of Deltora Quest.{This is a note for all the people who was involved in a conversation on trying to find Emily's Address and sending her a letter about a movie})
well if you look at it that way, but really the 3rd series is like the books not the stuff that happens in between. same for the other series'. and in my estimation I also included the times for the stuff that hapens in between. were does it say that Marlien was pregnant for like 6 months before series 3 starts? 🤨

Elanna's summary is probably more accurate as it allows for time not written about in the books. travel time for starters, as well as days not worth talking about. the books would drag on too long if the books were written in real time.

Ya but she MADE them up and probably never thought of when Jasmine gets pregnant, if you ask her she will just tell you a random month, season, etc. But then lets say she says "oh, the next week" you can ask here what age are they the next week. The she might make up an age. "Oh they're in there mid 17s" then you could say "HaHA, what about puberty" and then you'll know if she ever though of it.
