God or No God?

why does the first commandment indicate otherwise then?

I just thought of something. If we make our Gods, than how do we make a law that stops us otherwise? I mean think of it, if you were poor and needed money, would you make a law stating that no one is allowed to spare even a penny for you? I wouldn't think so. It's pointless to do so. So why, if man created his own gods, would limit himself to one that, chances are, would usually detest and go against what men would like to do...

yeah if man created gods, but the commandments was supposedly to come from god so why should it indicate other gods when its followers claim their god to be the only one

But life shows clues to prove He does.
also shows clues to prove god doesnt exist

But it's truth. What difference does it make if there stories. People make stories so that life can be made better. Myths, legends, fables, fairy tales, all of them are created for one reason: To get across a set of ideals or morals. The bible, to some, is the greatest collection of fairy tales known to man. To others, it the greatest collection of truth every to be put together in one book. The fight for is there a God, is all based on speculisim. You must have faith to prove he exsists. Because if it is all true, those who didn't give in to doubt and took the easy way out, will be proven right. But say for instance if their wrong, if I'm wrong, than what do I lose? If I'm wrong I lose nothing, if I'm right I gain everything. I have no, as well as everyone else, no proof to prove that God exsists. But life shows clues to prove He does.

I do believe that there has been some tampering with the scriptures, but Jesus message in and of it's self was goodness.

What's truth that there is only one God! HOW DO YOU KNOW! like i've said over and over again.God is a fictional character created by man followed by idiots, grown into to power..and will eventually die...

No he is not. We know by FAITH. PEople say seeing is believing but there is ALOT of things we know exist and don't see.
Just as we don't see the wind we don't see God but just as we feel the wind we feel God's presence and poer in our lives. I have experienced it. You wouldm't know since you have'nt opened your heat to him yet. God will not come into your heart unless you let him. God is no siper man that runs to and fro to people when they need a blessing or this and that. And remember God is no respecter of persons. Whether you say God exists Or not HE will still sit on his throne of glory, with Jesus on his right hand.

First off.....You don't know me to be judging me and if you would know your facts i have opened my heart to him....nothing of which lead to any good or point...secondly you can see wind depending on the moiture in the air...and last of all faith is somthing everyone has....wheather it's an idea or any other person...faith will always exist..wheather or not God does...I'm not convinced....I too have expereniced the lord...it was good but not satisfying...there was somthing missing...and i figured why live the way others precieve as GOOD?I'm going to live my life the way i want, how i want, to the fullest.............

So are you saying that someone who isn't a Christian has the wrong faith? My biggest problem with Christianity is that, according to the bible, someone like the Dhali Lama will go to hell, but a murderer, child molester or rapist can ask for forgiveness and get into heaven.
Case in point:Constatine.

so do demons and satan in religious terms.....

Demons and Satan were thought up by the Roman church...Though you can create your own....What you think about will eventually create your reality...Do a search on: The law of attraction or creating your own reality. Science is involved there.

Faith is a poor means for acquiring beliefs. Faith in a god is, structurally speaking, no better than faith in the superiority of the white race for example. Mere faith can lead to any conclusion. If a racist said that they would rather trust their intuition and keep their faith that minorities are inferior, would you accept that as a valid argument? I wouldn' t. I hope you wouldn' t, either.
