😆 I never said I SAW THEM..........hahahahaha.............but others swear to them............I believe you can create what you want to, since we are all part of that ol creative process...............just as people don't see things anymore (well some people)..........then they don't see what ever it is anymore.........Like the Moors and Celts, and well, all the ol stories...........

....creative process.... *snickers*

Sooooooooo you don't believe in evolution?

I do. But as a biologist I know that evolution is not creative. 😄

Why do you think upon these lines that evolution cannot be a creative process?

Creative means, in essence, making original work.

I dont DISAGREE. I just think its the wrong word.

The Jesus I believe in teaches deeper meanings just like Buddha and other great teachers, not the Mithra, Dionysus Jesus of the Bible. The main point is to love.

* and what do you call these?

"Ye have heard that it was said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy:
But I say unto you, love your enemies, and pray for them that persecute you;"
Matthew 5:43-44

"And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.
The second is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."
Mark 12:30-31

"But I say unto you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to them that hate you,
Bless them that curse you, pray for them that despitefully use you."
Luke 6:27-28

"A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; even as I have loved you, that ye also love one another."
John 13:34

"Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
John 15:13

Yes I do know that, but Paul changed the message of Jesus and most churches are Pauline based, not Jesus based.........

* what were changed?

"But God commendeth his own love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
The Romans 5:8

"Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good."
The Romans 12:9

"Repay no one evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.
If possible, so far as it depends upon you, live peaceably with all.
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God; for it is written, Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.
No, if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals upon his head.
Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."
The Romans 12:17-21

"Love suffereth long, and is kind; love envieth not; love vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not its own, is not provoked, taketh not account of evil;
Rejoiceth not in unrighteousness, but rejoiceth with the truth;
Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
Love never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall be done away; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall be done away.
But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love."
I Corinthians 13:4-8, 13

"For ye, brethren, were called for freedom; only use not your freedom for an occasion to the flesh, but through love be servants one to another."
Galatians 5:13

"So then, as we have opportunity, let us work that which is good toward all men, and especially toward them that are of the household of the faith."
Galatians 6:10

"And walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell."
Ephesians 5:2

"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it;
Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his own wife loveth himself:
Nevertheless do ye also severally love each one his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she fear her husband."
Ephesians 5:25, 28, 33

"And above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfectness."
Colossians 3:14

"And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we also do toward you;"
I Thessalonians 3:12

* and most of all, Saint Peter said this regarding Saint Paul and his epistles...

"And count the forbearance of our Lord as salvation. So also our beloved brother Paul wrote to you according to the wisdom given him,
Speaking of this as he does in all his letters. There are some things in them hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other scriptures."
II Peter 3:15-16

* what did the other people do to Saint Paul's epistles?

"Speaking of this as he does in all his letters. There are some things in them hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other scriptures.
You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, beware lest you be carried away with the error of lawless men and lose your own stability."
II Peter 3:16-17

* they twisted Saint Paul's epistles... other people also twisted other scriptures but Saint Peter emphatically specified Saint Paul's epistles... Saint Peter proves the authenticity, the righteousness, the wisdom and the power of God written through the epistles of Saint Paul... 😉

I agree with this. Although I do think that while Christ is worshipped, it is for the glory of the Father.

"That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things on earth and things under the earth,"
Philippians 2:10

* all things will be subjected unto Christ, then...

"And when all things have been subjected unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subjected to him that did subject all things unto him, that God may be all in all."
I Corinthians 15:28

* agreed... 😉

Communion on the Moon - Buzz Aldrin
by Bill Carrell

Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin were the first men to walk on the moon in the Apollo 11 space mission. Michael Collins third member of the group, was in charge of the command module, essential for their return to earth, which circled the moon while Armstrong and Aldrin landed. The moon lander touched down at 3:17 Eastern Standard Time, Sunday, July 20, 1969.

Aldrin had brought with him a tiny communion kit, given him by his church, that had a silver chalice and wine vial about the size of the tip of his finger. During the morning he radioed, "Houston, this is Eagle. This is the LM pilot speaking. I would like to request a few moments of silence. I would like to invite each person listening in, whoever or wherever he may be, to contemplate for a moment the events of the last few hours, and to give thanks in his own individual way."

"In the radio blackout," he wrote later, "I opened the little plastic packages which contained the bread and the wine. I poured the wine into the chalice our church had given me. In the one-sixth gravity of the moon, the wine slowly curled and gracefully came up the side of the cup. Then I read the Scripture, 'I am the vine, you are the branches. Whosoever abides in me will bring forth much fruit.' I had intended to read my communion passage back to earth, but at the last minute Deke Slayton had requested that I not do this. NASA was already embroiled in a legal battle with Madelyn Murray O'Hare, the celebrated opponent of religion, over the Apollo 8 crew reading from Genesis while orbiting the moon at Christmas. I agreed reluctantly..." "Eagle's metal body creaked. I ate the tiny Host and swallowed the wine. I gave thanks for the intelligence and spirit that had brought two young pilots to the Sea of Tranquility. It was interesting for me to think: the very first liquid ever poured on the moon, and the very first food eaten there, were the communion elements."

That actually IS very interesting, but considering the fact that Christianity was the only socially acceptable philosophy in the United States that time, it comes to no surprise, and is nothing special.

A human performed a religious ritual on the moon.

Why did you post this in multiple threads? This is spamming.

I would also bet that Buzz Aldrin thinks that creationism is crap.

Did you report him? 😆

I wish. Its kind of like dealing with a mentally retarted child. Punsihment is not always the best course.

Deity or no Deity... both are different religions and both require faith, there is no difference between then. They are just different religions.

That is 99% not true.
