I know, I heard that too...that is one massive earthquake. Simply mindboggling...
What I found out was that earthquake was so powerful that the closest Island to it was moved a mile and the lessened by something and it also sent shock waves out into space. And it says in the bible know this in the last days nations will be in distress for perplexity because the waves were roaring there is your tsunami.

Personally i wouldnt have listened to them either - they probably get people warning them every week and although they might have predicted 1 right how many hundred did they get wrong? If governments listened to everyone that warned them of an earthquake theyd never get anything else done.

With any luck they soon wont have to wait to be told by harbingers of doom when something like this is coming. Apparently a number of nations are working on an early warning system for the area and planning its implication so that there isn't a repeat, seeing how it is predicted a large number of the victims could have been saved with a warning of as little as 15 minutes in advance. I just hope this vision can be realised, so nothing of this scale occurs again...
