Batman movies suck
I finally saw the first Batman the other day, and I didn't like it. It didn't focus enough on Batman, lots of little things didn't make any sense, Keaton wads too puny (for those that think physical appearances aren't important, would you have a 10 year old girl who was the greatest actor in the world play Batman? I don't think so), and there wasn't enough action. This film I felt has been overrated.
Another thing, why do Batman movies so often feature more than one villain? This doesn't give adequate time to develop the characters and leads to them becoming oversimplified like in Batman Forever, where both the Riddler and Two-Face were portrayed as cackling nutcases when this isn't the case for either of them. An entire film could have been build around the friendship between Wayne and Harvey Dent and Dent's transformation, but this wasn't even acknowledged.
If only these produces would decide to start basing the movies closely on the comics, one continuity's series of Batman movies would last a long time, but because they tried to cram multiple storylines into a few movies by taking liberties with them, we basically have to start all over again now.
