Alright, I was able to compile all the movies I've seen since I was here last, which was March 7th. Here we blow;
Gentlemen's Agreement - Boring
Brokeback Mountain - Loved it
Chronicles of Narnia - Couldn't get into it..
8 Mile - Liked it
The Hills Have Eyes - Decent
The Good Girl - Little too "relationship-y"
2001 Maniacs - Lots of fun
Rashomon - So-so
Get Rich Or Die Tryin' - Very enjoyable, and credible
Sound of Thunder - Shit for CGI
Evil Ed - Waste of time
Ron White: You Can't Fix Stupid - Stupid
eXistenZ - Fantastic
My Best Friends Wedding - Cute and funny
Cigarette Burns (MOH: Carpenter) Fantastic
Memoirs of a Geisha - Pretty but uninvolving
Stay - Too complex and lifeless
Lord of the Flies (Original) Savage and enjoyable
Blood Simple - Great
Lady From Shanghai - Boring
Sisters - Fantastic early DePalma
The Wild One - Seemed rushed and pointless
Derailed - Gritty and enjoyable
Scanners - Little long, but lots of fun
Everything Is Illuminated - Instant Favorite
Show Me - Horrid
Arachnophobia - Fun and spooky
House of the Dead 2 - Rather kickass, better than the original
Paradise Now - Almost pointless
Three Extremes - Extreme and enjoyable, minus Miike's
Capote - Overrated as hell, but somewhat likeable
Chicken Little - Decent, tried too hard to be funny, though
Dracula: Dead and Loving It - Zzzzzzz
Double Impact - Funny
Sum of All Fears - Better than I remembered..
Mishima - Interesting
Tao of Steve - Funny and clever
Piranha - Great
Year of the Yao - Good doc.
Creature from the Black Lagoon - Silly and fun
Killing Zoe - So-so..
Death Wish - Brutal
Made - Meh..

When everyone else started using it, I stopped immediately because if there's anything I hate more than people following trends, it would be people, once again, emulating me. That's important to me, to not be copied, given it's happened here so much.
I'm giving that summary a 👇

Truth, sure.Watched: SNL - Best of Chris Kattan.
It is. I don't just say shit for the sake of sounding ****ing presumptuous. Click on over to page 65, find where I gave "My Big Fat Independent Movie" a thumbs down and "Flightplan" a thumbs up, both on 1/21, and who used it, the same day no less.
18 pages later, look where we are now. Scroll back 18 pages before page 65, was anyone using it before? Nope.
...and the rest is history. Proof is the pudding, as is the truth.
What a mess.
I never claim to have invented the blasted thing. I said that once I decided to use it, so did everyone else. Factually, before my use, the 👆 hadn't been used in conjunction with this thread since November 9th of 2005. I used it again 2 1/2 months later, and on the same day, so did DW, who never used it before in this thread. Then it mutated into a thumb orgy, the likes of which I seem to have started, and now the smilie's really lost its fun. Guess I'll resort to middle finger smilies, or hot dogs, or rotten heads of cabbage in my neverending search for a sense of individuality. That would probably get jacked, as well. I saw the multiple thumbs coming a mile away.
What a welcome back party...❌

I see, so people using the thumbs up in this thread are inherently copying you, because you used it first (according to you) in this thread. Nevermind that it's a very common emote for message boards, and even more common for movie discussions.

Just watched A River Runs Through It. 👇
Look what I found, someone using the thumbs up/down emote before you in relation to how they felt about a film, guess you copied him then?
Welcome back, C-Dic. I've missed you. Surely you don't expect me to go easy on you simply because you've taken a break, right? Nah, you don't want that.

Well, just as long as you don't start changing your signature every 3 days, or start a review thread in the MDF I think we'll be just fine. ✅Watched:
The Bank Dick - Not bad for my first W.C. Fields film.
I won't, the sig you've made for me still satisfies all urges of that type, my friend.
*Doesn't post the thumbs up emote*
I'll probably be watching Flight Plan tonight, I'll chime in later.
