The Chronicles of Narnia - alright movie. It was a bit rushed but enjoyable.

A Sound of Thunder - also enjoyable but sh*t compared to the short story. They took Bradbury's story and butchered it into a mindless sci-fi action flick.

"A Sound of Thunder", I got 20 minutes into before cutting it off. Ben Kingsley's Oompa-Loompa hair, coupled with bad dialogue, and the absolute WORST CGI I have EVER seen..instant ejection.

Watched:

Dirty Harry - Fun to watch, and on par with "Death Wish".

Croupier - Slick and Clive Owen was great.

Yojimbo
Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein

Some sci-fi's I can just go with the flow in the CGI department (Hitchhiker's Guide). That and I didn't take ASOT very seriously from the start.

I had multiple customers return the movie to me complaining about the CGI. It's pretty bad when casual fans, and die hards alike complain.

At my store we can't get the copies back on the shelf before more people check them back out.

Watched:

Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein - Insanely funny.

U.S. Marshals - Thought I saw it before, but I hadn't. Great flick.

John Carpenters "Vampires" - Still pretty "meh" about it.

Watched "Capote" last night. Pretty good flick. Hoffman earned that Oscar, IMO, although Joaquin Phoenix did amazing as Johnny Cash in "Walk the Line."

coming out of my own closet: 'A Fistful of Dollars' this one hasn't lost it's charm throughout the years..a true classic..

Watched:

"Fun With Dick and Jane" - Lots of fun

Fletch - Still funny..

Blood: The Last Vampire - Meh

Ghost In the Shell - Didn't dig the drawing style..

Appleseed - Still love it.

watched and rented - corpse bride and godsend

watched Mystery Men. Cheestastic!

The Newton Boys - fun okay movie.

Wolf Creek - couldn't get into it. The gore was okay in some areas but it was a little over the top in others.

Hey, C-Dic, just outta curiosity I've never gotten around to watching "A History of Violence" (dont ask why, I dont know either) but I do remember you saying that it was not all that good and severely overhyped (you did, didnt you?). Is it worth a rent? Any comments?
