Some possibilities:
"Double Exposure" (1982)
"A Grande Arte" (1991)
"Pathos--Segreta Inquietudine" ("Obsession--A Taste for Fear"😉 (1988)
EDIT: Also, possibly
"Body Double" (1984)

An obscure 80's movie title
Hi,
There is a movie I watched in a drive-in movie theatre in some time between 1983 and 1985. All I remember are what it was a bout and a few of the gags. I hope someone knows the name of the movie so I can rent it. I've been looking for years, not so much because it was a great movie, but for sentimental reasons.
The Premise:
Its a satire about a night club that is closing down and has called back several old acts to perform (I assume) for one last time. So the 3 acts I recall are a "punk rock" band with about 25+ girl guitar players, a heavy metal band lead by a guy called Reggie who was clean cut and wore a tuxedo, and a brain-fried folk singer guy who rode around in a cab the entire movie trying to find the place.
The Gags:
Someone knock on Reggie's dressing room door and he has to literally crawl out from under a room full of writhing female bodies to get out the door.
When the punk band arrives, they drive one car, but women guitarists just keep coming out and out of the car for a ridiculously long time.
I know it was shown before Crossroads, the Ralph Macchio/Joe Seneca movie about a Bluesman making a deal with the devil in Mississippi.
Thanks for any potential leads!

The only one I've found that was even close was "Rockin' Road Trip" (1985). Since "Crossroads" was a March release, it could have been teamed with this Troma treat from the previous year (although KMC lists it as being released May 1st, 1986).
Is that it?
Nope. Thats not it. I saw it at a drive-in movie at the very end of their non x-rated movie days and I imagine it wasn't first run (Crossroads or the movie I can't remember). I was 18 and this was one of my first drive-in trips without my parents.
Nothing on that list rang a bell. I looked up a couple whose title sounded like it could have fit, but again, no luck. Maybe it will jog someone else's memory. Thanks!
Need Title, drama about cut-throat boardroom, professional men
I am looking for the name of a movie.
The movie is a charcter study about the brutality of professional white collar men. I believe in one scene, one of the characters recounts how he abused, raped, or sodomized another young boy.
Anyone have any ideas, I think it dates from the early-mid 90's.
regards,
paul
Much thanks to those who've replied. I've spent innumerable hours typing different queries in and have used every trick I know. Results? Nothing. I actually did contact Sundance, but they politely told me that they had no recollection and wished me a nice weekend. Would anyone else have any suggestions on people or groups who might be able to provide me with leads, if not the actual answer? This is driving me nuts!!! Maybe it wasn't an actual short, but instead was the end of another movie?
need movie title
I hope someone remembers this movie. I saw it about thirty years ago. I didn't see the beginning or end. The part I saw was about a woman lying on a couch in an office and the man (psychiatrist? hypnotist?) couldn't wake her. The movie then showed her in the past, in medieval times, being hunted as a witch. She had to make a decision whether to die in the past and live in the present or die in the present(not wake up) and survive in the past. I don't know how she got back in time to begin with, maybe she was hypnotically regressed. I can't remember any more specific details, like who the actors were, just that she had long black hair.
Sounds a lot like "The Undead" (1957), a Roger Corman "classic".
You may just have to make a film like this yourself, and wait for the lawsuit.
You have tried www.imdb.com , right?
Sounds a little like "Glengarry Glen Ross" (1992). I don't remember a line like that, but it sounds like the sort of dialogue you would find in a David Mamet script.
Just found this site, need help find two movies
Can't remember the names.
One was a movie that was out around 1982 to 1985 and had these bizarre charachters that were somehow split in the past. The good side of the characther were these hunched over creatures with long noses that looked funny, and the bad side of the characther were these ugly charachters. I remeber that if one got cut, the other got a cut instantly and if one died, the other died. At teh end of the movie they were both drawn to some mountain and and the two characthers became one being.
The characthers must have been puppeted because they weren't cartoon looking. Any help?
The other one, All I remember about it was that it came out around 1980 and it was an "out of time" movie such as it was in the 1800's and I remember two guys flying in an airplane overhead and the airplane dropped out of the sky and one of the guys in the plane got out and said "any landing you can walk away from is a good on". I doubt anyone remembers this, but I thought I'd give it a try.
Thanks and I'm sure glad I found this site.
The first one has to be "The Dark Crystal" (1982).
Not sure about the second one, but I'll keep looking.
EDIT: the second one might be "Tangents" (aka "Time Chasers"😉 (1994); MST3K had it on their show once, and it featured a time machine built into an airplane (which crashes).
Help me ID this film?
Just discovered this forum and hope to solve an old mystery
I remember enjoying a film when I was very young which I must have seen on television at least a couple of times. My recollection of it lies just enough on the other side of memory that it's like a bit of popcorn that just won't dislodge from a tooth for about twenty years now. Help!
The movie involved vikings or pirates on an adventure to recover a lost/plundered/mythical bell. At the close of the movie, the main character, frustrated to the end with failure, finds himself in a tiny chapel high on a plateau above the sea and, flinging a hanging lantern angrily against the inner wall, discovers that this very chapel disguises the thing he has been searching all along. He is standing right inside of the giant bell! What is the name of this movie?
Hell, since I've got your attention, can I ask one more? I also remember having the hell scared out of me by what I think may have been a television episode of the twilight zone. It is a post-apocalyptic scene that takes place on an abandoned military base, or perhaps a very small mid-western town. I recall only one or two humans have survived in the scenario and in my mind's eye, I recall something like the metal support towers for high tension/voltage wires appearing on the horizon and marching upon them. Very creepy. Ring any bells?
Thanks for any help,
brad
