hi. i know this is exactly the same as the guy in another thread but what the hell. a few years ago i saw this film which was really good but i can't remember what it was called. it started with a guy planning to rob a petrol station. he took a woman hostage and they drive off in his car and throughout the rest of the film they are chased by the police as they try to escape (i think to mexico). the rest of the film takes place on the road. at one point early on in the film the woman burns the guy with the car cigarette lighter. later in the film they fall in love and they end up having sex while the guy is driving and being pursued by the police. that's all i remember but hopefully someone will know waht i'm talking about. cheers, Jono

1) Color or black and white?

2) Can you picture any of the actors' faces? Does one remind you of Claude Akins or Michael York? Were there any distinctive characters (ethnic, handlebar mustache, eypatch, etc)?

3) What sort of time frame are we talking about here? Your age isn't on your profile, so I assumed this movie would be sometime from the 60's to the 80s'. Approximately what years should we be looking at? Or did the "twenty years" remark refer to the movie's era as well as the popcorn analogy?

4) Anything outstanding (or low-budget) about the effects, soundtrack, dialogue, etc?

The first one shouldn't be too terribly hard to find through an IMDb search (though I've had no luck so far); the second one sounds similar to an image from "Pink Floyd: The Wall", but I doubt that's it. TV Tome is a good resource for finding specific episodes of TV shows.

Could it be "My Favorite Spy" (1951), starring Bob Hope?

Hiya was hoping you could help as i've been searching the web for ages.

I watched a film going back some ten years ago now, all i can remeber of it was that this girl was stood on a pedastol of some sort reading a poem and three people were chanting around her.

It happened that a bell fell down on top of her and when it was removed she had disappeared.

Not much to go on but your help would be appreciated 😄

I only saw part of this movie. The movie was about a man who was a corporate business spy and a woman who worked in a mall. The spy was trying to steal some information from the mall.
Basically the spy cut the security alarm wires and the phone lines. He did this in order to steal the information with out any problems. But some how a murder with a baseball bat was in the mall with them. The spy and the woman teamed up. They were finally able to lead the spy to the underground parking garage. The woman and the murder started racing through the garage and finally the murder hit something and caused his tank to leak. When this happened the spy set the trail of gas on fire and blew up the murder. Some how the police came and when they opened the doors the spy slipped out. The woman went home and when she entered her home the spy was waiting for her. They fell in love during the whole ordeal.🙄

I have tired 2 message boards so far and no one has been able to tell me the title of this movie.

I say this movie on USA networks. I know it is not a USA original movie because the film appears to have been made in the late 80's. I am not sure if it is a made for TV movie or if it was released in theaters.

Can anyone out there tell me what this movie is?? Or can you tell me who either of these actors are! They both look familiar but I can't place them. Thanks for any help!

First time here asking for a name and its an odd one I think.

I remember this movie when I was in about the second grade (so about 15 years ago). This movie was deff foriegn, most likely british.

All I can remember is these kids building big snow forts and fighting with other kids(prolly the bullys). They built small castles and would have crazy snowballs with ice in them and such.

It may have been a TV series or something but I believe I saw it on HBO or Showtime.

It might be "La Guerre des Tuques" (The Great Snowball War) (1984).

There are several French movies involving school and teachers, and countless more with characters named "Marie", but here are a few that might be the one you're looking for:

1) "Les Turpulins" (1980);

2) "Attention Bandits"(1986);

3) "P.R.O.F.S." (1985)

i need 2 know the name of this movie i think its like a twilight zone movie a movie with short stories anyway in 1 of the short stories this guy gets obsessed with this arcade game and everyday he plays it then 1 night he breaks into the arcade to play the game and the machine destroys itself and out of the recage comes creatures from the game then the next day people come 2 the arcade and discover all the machines r smashed exsept fo the one the guy was obsessed with and a kid who knew that guy goes up to the machine and he see's that the games main charactor is now the guy that was obsessed with the game

I think the movie came out in the 80's but i am not sure. It was similar in style to beastmaster or conan.

It was about this warrior guy who was living with this woman and her son. There was a gang leader guy who was giving the woman and her son trouble and ended up kidnapping one of them. So the warrior dons his swords once again to rescue the woman. He had two short swords that were mounted by his knees pointing up. There were also these wind powered cart thing that the evil dude had. Thats all i remeber about it.
