Emma sucks! RAWR 😛

Thats my contribution to this discussion.

Longing for two man at the same time doesn't make you a b*tch, it's how you act on these feelings that would label you. Imo Jean did rather well in this aspect, except for the last time before her latest death, when her marriage was a mess already.

* it's how Jean acts on her feelings, huh? well, what really did transpired? for the Nth time, and time and time again, we all see Jean making out with Logan, wow! and look if the redhead did put much of a fight, hell she loves it! smells like a bi@tch to me, considering she's married, hello? 😕

Just five names: Madelyn, Jean, Nathan, Rachel, Nate...
Good husband? Good father? 🤨

-Madelyn was certainly all his fault.

* a typical male syndrome... i wonder how Logan did these things and always gets away from it... 🙄

-Jean certainly made mistakes within their marriage, but so did Scott. She was no good wife for him, just like he was by no means a good husband for her.

* Cyke is an appropriate husband for Jean... on the other hand, Jean is NOT an appropriate wife for Cyke... 😉

* the man loves her, and just because of her raging hormones, she makes out with her husband's rival... how ironic, i never heard of that... husbands should not have rivals, wives should be loyal and faithful to their husbands... a big thumbs down to Jean... 😈

* ever read the Uncanny X-men before the Summers-Grey wedding? Cable did confront Cyke about their relationship... and guess what, at the end, Cable admits he likes Cyke as his father, no more no less... 😛

-Rachel and Nate are certainly not his responsibility when it comes to fatherhood, but as a caring human and the next best thing to a father he also completely failed.

* a dedicated student of Professor Xavier, Cyke brings Xavier's dreams into reality... ever read the Avengers/X-men Blood Ties crossover? Cyke projects a practical and realistic human compassion over a massacre and leaves Iceman clueless of what chaos had transpired... unless, he's a damn good actor... 🙄

* i'm not saying Cyke's a saint nor a perfect man... but he IS a good man, and he does not deserve what Jean did to him by having an affair with Logan... 😛

Okay, for all of you who go on saying how Jean had affairs with Logan, well Scott Summers was an emotionally distant husband in the first place. He was more intent on being a leader of the X-Men than being a good husband and father. Even Marvel.com includes it in Jean's biography and why she so often turns to Logan. If you have a happy marriage with a caring husband, I doubt that you'll be running around with other people.

So the fault as always, goes right back to Scott Summers.

What has Logan's behaviour to do with Scott's qualification as a husband and father?! 🤨

Don't get me wrong, when you read all my previous posts, you will see, that i think Emma is a far better wife for Scott than Jean. But nonetheless Scott was not exactly the husband Jean would have needed either. A man who would have confronted her about her feelings for Logan and not just sought the solution to this problem in brawling and arguing with Wolverine. A man who would have expressed his feelings and the problems he has with his changes and those of his wife instead of making out with his wife's greatest rival...wives should not have rivals, husbands should be loyal and faithful to their wives... a big thumbs down to Scott. (sounds familiar, doesn't it? 😉 ).

Result: Both of them were not exactly the best mate for each other.

So Cable, who is a grown man now, had a change of feelings for his father after all. Ever heard of improvements and developments in relationships?

I was never talking about his ability to show compassion and feelings in general, i was talking about this ability in the case of Rachel and Nate.

Result: I also think that Scott is a good man, but i also wanted to point out, that he is by no means the flawless husband and father you were implying he is.

Basicaly Jean is dead, so whatever happens Scott has got to move on. Plus she's a cosmic entity so you know, not exactly going to be the settle -at-home-with-2.4-children type of girl anymore. Putting Jean and their relationship on a pedestal is a bit stupid, because she isn't exactly a model of stability, especialy after what she did to Emma...

On top of that, Jean-and-Scott is getting a bit old, they loved each other and probably still do but things move on. Emma is probably one of the most interesting characters around at the moment, people seem to paint her very black and white, and that's a little bit annoying and she seems to be right for Scott at the moment...so I stay keep them together...they bring an interesting dynamic to the team and it's nice to see Scott away from Jean's influence...he's really started to shine since he's been with Emma 😄

what about Cyclops being solo? 😬

You're talking about the Ugliest Actors and Actresses thread and the Halle Berry thread in the Movie Celebrites section. Some of the people in there are immature.

And about Cyclops and Emma. I don't know enough about their relationship, but I think he should stay with her because she's hot.
😛

I don't know anything cause in my country we don't have X-men series broadcasting but i watched a few on dvd..and i can tell that Emma is manipulant and bitchy what makes her impossible to handle any of the relationships she had. ..aaand Cyclops?Oh,he's so so boring..i'd cut that X-man out of a crew!

Though it's not your fault, your infos on the characters are pretty superficial and really out of date.
Hope you'll be able to lay your hands on some relevant comics soon 😉

Anyone read x-men the end..emma is married to scott and has 4 children...Scott really knocked her up..but it is an alternate time line..Jean was always scott soul mate with their up and downs..but jean is grown beyond human and she can't be with scott anymore, she is a goddess...The whole Emma/scott thing is Really ok and is very interesting... for some reason scott is always with a telepath woman...and the women scott's with always like have a fight something within themselves like jean and the pheonix and now emma and her past coming back to haunt her...and also maddie and scott himself .Emma and Scott are a cool couple only thing i hate about was the way they got together right after jean died...jean needs to come back and clear that up with the other x-men

^No. I don't agree. I think it's the other way around.

Yes, it is childish and no way to handle a mature and functioning relationship. ❌

I was referring to the following earlier comment of yours...
* on the other hand, re: Logan & Emma kissing... hell, Cyke can better off go and find another X-babe he deserves... man, look at Cyke, people, he is a hunk and he deserves a faithful and loyal woman unlike Jean or even Emma... over the years, i have known Cyke as a good father, a good husband, a good leader, a good student, a good friend... hell, Cyke is also a good person contrary to what others think that he had no compassion for his teammates, the X-men is his family and will die for it...
...but in the end i have to admit, that your later comment was indeed a little more differentiated, so - apologies! 🙁

I don't see it this onesided, but eventually i strongly support Jean and Scott not being a couple for their own sake, so...

Oh please... they had a psychic bond, he never had to show his feelings externally because she could just look inside him and see... the shit only got worse once he'd been possessed by apocalypse... and frankly... jean took scott for granted alot more than vice versa...

Okay, maybe I will look at Emma's title... 😠 BUT I MAINTAIN THAT SHE IS A STEREOTYPE!!! 😠 😛 And that is my opinion!

And I agree. Instead of hooking Cyclops up with someone who he totally doesn't go with (in my opinion), he should be by himself. Think of how empowering it would be!

AGAIN NO to this couple.............

jean and cyclops all together.....

i do agree that they make a hot couple......cause they both are hot ....but jean and c yclops make a hotter couplee......

^YEAH BLAISE!!!
