Ok... 😛

And I agree. Instead of hooking Cyclops up with someone who he totally doesn't go with (in my opinion), he should be by himself. Think of how empowering it would be!

I doubt he'll be with emma for long, though i think she's had a positive effect on him...

I vote for Cyclops to hook up with Cable!!!!!!

😐 No more posting for you...

I vote they should stay together....or until scott finds another replacement female telepath...say Psylocke to cling on

Scott + 1 female telepath = X-men's Cyclops 😛

True.
And you know, it never made any sense to me why all these women are always throwing themselves at Cyclops. I just personally never got that. I mean, he's waaay too uptight, he's not the best-looking of all the X-men (although, to be fair, looks aren't everything), and he's quite uninteresting. I actually kinda think that its the writers' way of trying to make him more likeable. You know, "Well, all these women think he's cool, so he MUST be cool... right?". Iunno. I hope that made some sense 😂 . Its late and I've been pulling an all-nighter for an exam.
I still haven't gotten the chance to read the Emma Frost series, but I'm working on it. And I still think that he and Jean are a classic couple and that they should stay together... and that Emma's a stereotype...

More than anything I think his appeal is in the mix of strength and vulnerability. On one hand he is the alpha male of X-Men; big, strong and in-charge. On the other hand he is a quiet, sweet, adorkable geek. He's attractive in the same way Colin Firth is attractive... Or the way Colin Firth capable of beating Vin Diesel in a fight would be.

You think cyclops is uninteresting? aren't you a gambit fan? 😖

I totally agree, I think that's the basis of his appeal. Plus, the reason he's with telepaths is probably because he has issues with emoting, and telling people what he's feeling. There is probably alot under those shades for a telepath to explore.

And Emma is not stereotypical really no2

Yeah! Gambit IS one of my favourite characters. And I'd actually be the first to admit that he hasn't been the most interesting character these days (at least not the way he's handled in X-men...). And actually, I hope he dies in this new Apocolypse story arc so that he can come back years from now and have his... mojo back (for lack of a better word). But I wasn't talking about Gambit, I was talking about Cyclops.
And I wasn't actually trying to say that he was COMPLETELY uninteresting. I simply meant that he doesn't strike me as SO interesting that he would get all those women fighting over him. It honestly doesn't make any sense to me. That's all.

Hmmm... I guess that does make a little sense. But I think he's a little overdone.

Well, it's not like he has that many women after him. OK, he's been married twice and has a girlfriend. Apart from that I can think of about three or four other women who have show interest in him. Not bad, but not that impressive either. It just seems like a lot because he never makes the first move but instead has all these women coming after him. You know, maybe it's his apparent lack of interest that makes these women want to get through his shell.

Does emma frost even love cyclops anymore? She seems to be messing around with his mind too much lately.......

Btw...You don't like Emma for (allegedly) being a stereotype and at the same time you love Gambit???!!! What else is he, if not the stereotypical shady, mysterious, cunning, slightly dangerous and overwhelmingly charming loverboy of almost every housewife's XXX rated dreams?

I voted against their relationship.

Maybe I am too stuck on Scott's relationship with Jean that they're like already perfect together. But since Jean is dead, for the gazillionth time, I'll just try to stand this whole new relationship with Emma.

Ive been thinking about the original question and franky I like Scott Love Emma but I think she would be the perfect person to give him a wake up call. He has not exactly treated Jean, Maddie or even Emma the way they each need to be treated. Despite best intentions he is for lack of a better term a "Lothario". Not on the level of Gambit and Azazel but he needs to be dumped! seriously think about Scott droped like a bad habit like he did Maddie, Jean (maybe emma in the near future) he needs to grow up. As wolvie put it "he alwasy gets all the best girls" but he's not exactly the best man, treatment wise for a woman.

Scott would be pretty darned shocked and not to mention quite shattered if any woman ever left him. He walked out on maddie for jean, jean had no problems with this, got married to him and low and behold after her trist with Wolvie from (God knows when) he ends up having a psychic affair with Emma. Jean did push him off however. He is now with Emma and while I get that they have a more open relationship the way he talks to her in astonishing is beyond me! would he ever talk to jean like that? Never! not even if she came back shagged Wolvie and had some cubs! Im not saying dump him now but it would be soooooooo good for his character if jean came back he decide to stay with frost but she no longer wants him.....
