you know, Ds is probably a more well rounded machine. Atleast, when focusing on the gameplay aspect. It has taken a completely innovative concept and integrated it nicely. Presonally i dont like the whole touch screen gimmick, but it does work well, and if your into hand-helds then the Ds is for you.
The PsP is more for people who dont like hand held systems. The gamming seems decent, however, how intriguing is it really? Nothing more than a lesser version of Ps2 games. you may say, well i can play it anywhere...but, what about the battery life. The short battery life kind of defeats the purpose of portable video games. I dont see the point in playing an incomplete or lesser version of video games than home consoles offer, but thats not my thing. All of the other components out weigh the short battery life of the PsP , and the battery life is a huge disadvantage. However, being able to play to with up to 16 different people, downloading mp3's watching movies and a horde of other features, the PsP seems to have finally accomplised the sole idea of a hand held system. It's just the fact that when you are playing it, you are playing games that are out for the Ps2, and they are not as complete or sleek. The Ds has and will have many games designed around it's innovation of two screen, which i think offers a unique and entertaining approach on hand held gamming and gamming in the whole.
True, publishers do that.
But they also help in the development also. Their the main contributor to QA Testing, which is a vital task for a videogame development. So when I say good job on both of them who made the game, I actually mean, good job to Q Entertainment for development and Ubisoft to provide funding, QA Testing and release the game (which is a tad importatnt too).
If you dont care, why are you replying.

I'm not surpraised that the PSP is selling more.
It probalby sell more initially, but I'm going to wonder if the DS continues to have the same sell paterns like the the Gameboy's. Nintendo handheld's have always sold alot later in its cycle.
DS isnt selling as well as the PSP because of the lack main titles.
I also wonder if the PSP will sell more later on.
