32mb is more than enough if ur just gonna use it for games. The ps2 memory card is only 8mb, so its equivalant to 4 ps2 memory cards
You have said on here the PSP is for people like aged 20-30, but surely if they do buy the PSP, they will have an ipod or an equivient anyway, so they wont need the PSP for the music capabilites.Well thats bs. Im buying a psp when it comes out as are most of my freinds, im 15 and i have an i pod, im still buying it.
The movies used the PSP are an absolute joke, honestly can you see people rebuying there DVD collection on the UMD's, just so they can watch movies on the PSP, especially when you can buy a portable DVD player with a 10 inch screen or whatever size it is for less than the PSP, i do doubt it.You dont get the psp with a portable dvd player. I should think most people wouldnt go putting 100's of films on their psp's. It would just be nice having a few of my favourite movies for my psp.
The loading times are a complete JOKE, you could get a game to load up and nearly have enough to time to get a tea or coffee by the time it has loaded, when it comes to handhelds, you dont really wanna keep waiting for it load all the time.I'll wait.
the square button is actually redicolously close to the screen, your thumb will be constantly on the screen, and the square worked about 80% of the time when i was playing on the PSP.You must have a bigger than average thumb. Im sure it was ergonomicaly made for the average person.
have heard rumors that if you would want a 1 gb memory stick, which most people would probably want for there music, it would cost you around $300.The keyword is rumours.
Really i dont care wat other people say. I made my mind up months ago that im buying a psp. Only time will tell which hand held is superior.

Do you have the article? Is this Sony's device or some third party because I never ever trust 3rd party memory devices. Especially when they're selling it for twice as less as Sony's.

actually there was an ariticle on a website where sony have had 5,000 of there psp's sent back already (could be more now) because of problems with the square button not functioning properly, because it was too close tot he screen.
They dont have to resize the screen http://www.techjapan.com/Article900.html
But thats not the only problem with the square button. Supposidly the button doesnt always register when you press down on it. So if you try to jump in a game with the square button, you wont be jumping.
I cant find the actual article so I could be wrong.
No matter what happens, it's still pretty crappy business practice to have defects in an expansive product. If happened with a videocard/walkman and etc, people would be outraged. But its the PSP and who cares if there's defects. I still dont understand that.
people will care.. they just arent bringing all the real problems to the publics view.. but Im pretty sure they'll have to fix them when it comes to america.. maybe japanese will put up with defects.. but I know for a fact americans wont take that shit.. america has something called a refund lol.. you dont give good service , mah money goin back in mah wallet
Im not worry if there is a defect in my PSP becuz @ EBgames they have a warranty for sell for like 20 bucks and if anyhing happens to it theyll give you a BRAND NEW PSP thats why Im not so worry about this. And another reason Im getting one becuz my B day is cuming and my mom wanted toget me sumthing.

What makes you think that your favourite movies will come out on the psp, they havent said how many wil be coming out yet, and which ones they are, all i know is that in the first 1 or 2 months there will be able 4 movies available

Thats bull####.
If it wasnt defective, you wouldnt need to spend the 20 bucks.
I would also get it if somebody bought it for me, but I personally wouldnt buy it unless I know for fact that I will have fun playing it and it warrents the 300 and over price for it.

What I meant was that its stupid to say that you get a warrenty because its already defective in the first place. You just wasted 20 bucks for a defective product that you knew about.
Its essential to get a warrenty for a product that isnt labelled as defective because you never know what will happen.
It should work in the first place. If have to put up 20 bucks so you can return it, its stupid.
