Such epic greatness shall never be matched.. lol. I think after Stallone kills Rambo off in the final installment (hopefully in grand, epic fashion), he should get somebody really good to write some prequels, find a good Italian Silvester look-alike and Stallone should direct them. And I hope the final installment has a really good villain, cuz if Rambo is gonna die, he needs to go out taking out a really bad guy.
Theater-- The Campaign
Will Farrell and Zach Galifinakis playing basic personas.
Crass jokes rising above any real comedy.
Still a mocking look at the insanity of an American political campaign though full of filler. And at 1 hr 25 min that's alot of filler.
5/10.
It had the goods. Farrell playing Bush and Zach playing his flamboyant brother role but the film was nothing but skit comedy.
The Campaign did look sort of amusing, I'll admit. So, recently I've watched:
Dick Tracy
The Illusionist
Couldn't make it more than 20 or 30 minutes through Dick Tracy. Holy crap it is BAD. I can't believe Al Pacino is in it and is SO bad. The Illusionist was pretty good. Not bad for a chick-flick. It had elements that weren't chick-flick, too, which is what made it a pretty strong picture. Great performances from Paul Giamatti and Rufus Sewell. They were fun to watch. Edward Norton looked weird with the beard for some reason, though, lol. I always thought The Prestige and The Illusionist looked like similar films. I'll have to go back and watch The Prestige again to compare.
