the great and powerful Oz
James Franco is a bad actor enough said if it wasnt for the girl from that 70'show who played the witch and the girl from dawsons creek the movie wouldn't have been worth watching. The graphics were really good but if you were to compare it to the first one the movie would have stunk. 4/10

Great and Powerful Oz--decent film. Beginning was lackluster but the ending of the film and the Wicked Witch was pretty well done.
I prefer the wiz of this. Watched the movie in 3d..the diolog in the movie didnt seem to go well I thought and James Franco was the only one who didn't carry his acting skills, it was almost as if he was talking to modern for the film.

I personally loved it. They have been given the greenlight for a sequel as well.
I knew it would be lame as soon as the demon's head moved on the screen. I was hoping for a crime/thriller movie with good twists. Would've been a much better film if there was a real serial killer and you found out what happened to the kids. Supernatural films are just about scares, the plot was pretty weak as it moved along.
"Lawn work" got me good though.

Lawn work got me really good the first time I saw it.
Okay, Skyfall has replaced Casino Royale as my favorite Bond movie. Javier Bardem was the PERFECT villain. I loved how he was in control... and then suddenly you could see the line he was treading between bonkers and "in control."
IMO, though, they made too much of Bond being "old." They made him so skinny, I was surprised [from my vision of "Royale" Bond, who was slim but obviously had built muscle.] And then "the old ways are the best," which was something interesting to point out, but when linked with Bond's "getting too old for the job", I thought that was completely ridiculous. I mean, he's on for two more Bonds, at least. They can't keep running the "too old" racket. That was never conveyed when any other actor played Bond, and Brosnan, for example, started greying in his last Bond films. The never pulled that crap with him!
