Such a weird yet utterly hilarious movie

it was definitely amusing, but the stupidity Carrey's character in the end was difficult to forgive.

Easily in my 5 fav films of all time.

I recommend a second viewing. Cause I know you're a classy gal.

Aw, shucks. You're making me blush. I think the immediate aftertaste kind of got to me. It's a much better film in memory.

Maybe it's just... now that I've seen John Travolta as a woman in Hairspray, and now that he's been shoved out of the closet... I mean, in Grease who didn't melt at Travolta's Danny? He was a little poochy. I think if Grease-era Travolta could've been in Pulp Fiction, I would not be making a squeak about it.

When did it come out?

Still bingewatching Merlin. And the second season of "The Hunger," which David Bowie hosts.

Star Trek: Into Darkness for the fourth time.

I guess my trick to watching older films is putting myself in the mindset of the audience of the era, and not preconceived perceptions of the modern day.

Travolta may have become a trainwreck later in his life but he was amazing in this film. It was his comeback film.
Separate yourself from the lifestyles of the rich and famous and perceive the characters for what they were on screen.
For what the director's artistic intent intended you to see.

Vincent Vega was a slimy heroin addicted killer back from Amsterdam doing jobs for his boss. He was attracted to his bosses wife and told to take her out on a date.

Pulp Fiction is an amazing film. Even though it moves at a cool pace it is still a roller-coaster ride. Which is rare in film.

It is "The Fonz" of films. From beginning to end.

-It came out in 94.

Saw it for the 1st time today. Great film. Iron Man 3 was good and will be the film to beat in terms of money, but STID will be the film to beat in terms of quality this summer.

It is one of my favorite films of all time. Absolutely love it.

Meet joe black. 10/10 so romantic loved how the directer played w the scenes u almost waited to see if joe black was going to have powers.

Let me see...

The Da Vinci Code (Extended Cut) - 9/10
Ghosts of Mars - 4/10 lol

Django Unchained for the second time.

Monkey Trouble

Watched "The Score" with De Niro, Edward Norton, and Marlon Brando.

Basically a grimmer version of the Ocean movies. Much more realistic, b/c there were not so many technical feats, just Bob with his safes and Brando with his money. Any movie with Norton is a pleasure to watch... Plus a really, really good twist.

5/5

Beowulf.

Watched that recently. Made me want to play Skyrim

Hansel/Gretel.
Ok for action but as far as they being professional witch-hunters, they sure got their asses kicked with every witch they came across...

Ghosts of Mars was pretty bad, only memorable thing

Spoiler:
was Pam Griers head on a spike, I've nothing against her but I was surprised she was killed off so quickly
and maybe I just cannot remember but I think the scene didn't make any sense.

Hidden for those of you yet to see it. 😄

Haha, yeah. I'm NOT a big fan of her, so I didn't mind seeing her go. I think the problem with the movie was that it took itself a bit too seriously and oddly enough it seemed more dated than Carpenter's The Thing even though it's like 20 years newer. That and Ice Cube is horrible.. lol. I still appreciated the practical effects, but the "ghost zombies" just came across as comical.

I like the cube just the ending was a waste of film.
