Last Movie You Saw? (Theater/Home)

I watched The Lone Ranger last night, and holy shit. I thought it was amazing. I can see why it's one of the biggest bombs of all time because of the bloated production cost and the fact that most people don't give a **** about Westerns anymore, but it's better than all of the boring Pirates of the Caribbean films put together.

Amazing? Really? Never thought I'd hear that. I mean, I didn't hate it; it was somewhat entertaining, but it was far from amazing. I just didn't think there was much chemistry.

The first pirates of the Caribbean movie was just brilliant. I don't agree with you at all. That last one, however, was horrible. What's up with Johnny Depp and bad movies lately?

There was only about 2 scenes I chuckled in Lone Ranger & that had to do with the horse being up in a tree for no reason at all & a comment Tonto made about the horse too.

No really. The Lone Ranger would have been a decent flick for the last thirty minutes alone, but I enjoyed the whole thing. The two leads had a lot of chemistry. Hammer wasn't wooden at all. He was dorky, but in an endearing way. I'd recommend giving it another shot. It's not like Avengers level good, but in no way does it deserve the s.hit it gets heaped upon it.

The Running Man on Netflix.

Winter Soldier. Decent enough but not great IMO.

It wasn't edgy enough, and not enough cartoonishly simplistic characters. Those are what make movies great.

Probably too much drama for his taste.

It wasn't edgy enough,

I can't see how the film could get edgier without getting too patriotic.
For a world wide audience, no one really wants Americanism shoved in their faces. My opinion anyway.

I didn't say it was bad I said it wasn't great. Very solid comic book movie but nothing great otherwise.

Coming from a country that their media still has interest in the Royals.

Captain America the winter soldier
9.1 out of 10

Most of the movie consists of captain America, black widow running from shield since they are fugitives, and cap was framed by that damn Alexander Pierce. Sam Wilson aka Falcon helps them.
shield is compromised as hydra is a damn virus that has infected it, the main scientist of red skull can't recall his name survived his mind being transferred to computers in a secret shield base where Steve trailed in the first movie.
We learn more about fury including the last time he trusted someone he lost part of his eye i think.

This has a lot of twists and turns some predictable or seeable others are not.
Captain America moves so freakin fast in the rescue mission it's hard to see him attack in real time not a complaint but a observation of cap showing off his great peak humanness.
Batroc proves to be a challenge, but you'll be damn pleased with winter soldier as he proves to be cap's equal plus hard for cap to fight his beat friend so there's that I need to not to fight him scene.
Fury with machines that have threat analysis can save life's but cap sees it as fear along with I thought the punishment came after the cap of which fury a realist shield sees the world as it is not as we like it to be.
Cap is willing to go into the mud to protect freedom even knowing it's going to be freakin hard. Although freedom was protected in the last war he doesn't want to compromise again as it's the kind of crap that keeps you up at night,
Falcon shows off his fighting skills in one fight
Scene showing the aftermath after shield files released.
In a congress hearing black widow says in response to the hearing they won't imprison her or others as she says she, cap and others are the most qualified to protect the world. The last line of defense or big guns they are.
Enough light moments and wisecracks to keep this movie from being the dark knight freakin depressing.
Stan Lee kicks ass with a cameo as a guard at a museum seeing that the cap costume i
Has been removed says the hilarious I'm so fired as only the shield of the original costume is left.
Climax is topnotch edge of your seat like a game 7 going down to the final minutes as air strike avoiding by the narrowest of margins, winter soldier pulls cap out of the water then walks away.

Winter Soldier memories are being erased which is freakin painful, in a way it's Bourne identity esque, when winter soldier takes off his goggles and mouth mask Steve sees him and there is a damn he's freakin alive.
Robert Redford kicks ass as the top dog mastermind villain with Winter Soldier used as his assassin, and top henchmen. Looks for a way to manipulate a council member that if you could save your family from a suicide bomber would you using his switch. He wants to destroy if I recall right 17 million to save 20 million which would be done using WMD.
While it seems he's defeated he still has one more ace up his sleeve but fury is able to shoot.
Black widow disguised as a council member with a holographic face kicks ass but pierce with some remote that causes a explosion to their body from some symbol button has the upper hand,
There is flashbacks to the first movie plus things not shown on screen in the first.
Ending it's obvious when do you start for looking for winter soldier falcon and captain America.
Also a extra scene with the mutants quicksilver and scarlet witch shown.
Black widow leaks all of shield's files since they're compromised a damn hard move to do since this includes everything about her so her life a open book for the public.
Not shocked fury is alive, cap rises to the occasion to give the orders as seeing shield is compromised even though it's not something Fury instantly agrees with.
Is this better than the avengers and possibly the best super hero movie yes I freakin loved this movie.
My one complaint is Falcon is undershown flying with his topnotch wings.

Most of what cap says is great including "You fight a war wear a uniform."
