Insidious: The Last Key (2018)
Scary Movie (2000)
Numb3rs tv show (2005-2010), episode 3:
A deadly virus is spreading through LA and only Charlie's equations can determine how far and where the disease is spreading.
Creepshow (1982)
Older horror movie that was somewhat influential. It's pretty solid. It's several different short stories. A little dated, but not too bad actually. Still entertaining.
Cabin Fever (2002)
I think I've seen enough of Eli Roth's movies. He sometimes has some good ideas (The Green Inferno, for example), but he ruins them with his execution. They come across as kind of lame bro-horror (Cabin Fever in particular). And it's a shame, because his knowledge of horror is actually pretty good and I like him, I just don't think he's a particularly skilled filmmaker.
Monster Trucks (2016)
I remember seeing the ads for this and it looked like one of the dumbest, silliest things I had ever seen, but I enjoyed the hell out of it with my (almost 4-year-old) son. It's surprisingly well done and entertaining. My son loved the cars and trucks and stuff, of course, and the creature-feature aspect I rather enjoyed.
Event Horizon (1997)
Re-watched it for the recent Red Letter Media re:View. I still like it and think they're a little too picky, even though they're not necessarily wrong with their criticisms. Though it is a shame that there's lots of missing footage.
Ninja Assassin (2009)
I gave it a re-watch after so many yeasr. It's not as bad as I remember. The fights and bloody violence are fu#king wicked. I really enjoy it for all that. It was really just background viewing while I worked out and was perfect for that. 👆
Dreamcatcher (2003)
The Stephen King adaptation. I swear I must have fallen asleep during it at the theater, because I barely remembered much of it. Or the wacky shit just wasn't memorable to me. I like the concept, but the Duddits connection to the alien didn't really make much sense to me, but perhaps it makes more sense in the book.
