He is All That. 1/10
Felt like a Disney Movie, it started out promising then towards the end it just became a cliche of the original. There was two scenes with the original castmates, it almost seemed like they didn't want to be in the same room because both actors are never in the same space together.

Captain Fantastic. Good film starring Viggo Mortensen. It tells the story of a father that raise his children off grids. At one point it shows the best and worse qualities of his choice. Two part that stood out was when he went to visit his sister and she ***** about him letting his kids drink wine, and she got mad about it. He also refuses to lie to his children, he speaks to them pretty straightforward. Everyone of his kids are genius, or near to being considered genius.
So when his sister continued to *****, he grab his sisters kids and asked them simple questions like what is the bill of rights, they had no idea. Then he asked his 9 year daughter and she begin to recite. He told her to stop and to not recite the bill, but put it in her own words, which she does by giving a great example. He proves his children doesn’t need school, and that school in general sucks.
But another part shows his kids only knows things through books. His first born even pointed that out when he wanted to go of to college, since he was accepted in every major colleges in the world.
His son after kissing a girl for the first time even asked the girl to marry him because he didn’t know any better.
Viggo and the cast was amazing. Definitely a good watch.
It was surprisingly good. 9/10
Two Denis Villeneuve films, both fantastic...
Polytechnique (2009) - Apparently a true story about a psychopathic misogynistic killing rampage. Admittedly it's an inherently compelling story, but he still tells it superbly.
Maelstrom (2000) - Any movie that starts out with a butchered fish narrator and an abortion is definitely going to be good. I'm not making that up, haha. But it seriously is great.
New thriller - The Unit. 8\10. I am fond of watching different thrillers and decided yesterday to check some new movies. The Unit is new one from 123 movies speaks about withcraft and etc. When main charecter returns to her hometown, she discovers her former home riddled with terrifying witchcraft, the town in the grip of fear, decay, and madness. Very intrigue and curious story. I suggest to watch it.
Recovering from surgery, so watching a bunch of stuff...
Ed Wood (1994)
It's a shame it took me this long to watch it. It's clearly a classic. Was it the first time Johnny Depp and Tim Burton collaborated? It's great, his performance is strangely hilarious. 9/10
The Babysitter (2017)
Not very good. Too much "bro horror" like getting shot in the boob is sooooo hilarious. 5/10

I've been meaning to re-watch that, too, just for fun.
I did it. Since it was free on Amazon Prime. It's much better than I remembered, now that I know more about James Gunn. Haha.. I love the practical effects in it. So good. 8/10
Guns Akimbo (2019)
It was average, choppy execution, but pretty entertaining premise. 7/10
The Addams Family (1991)
Weird that it feels like it should be a Tim Burton movie, but it's not. Charming, wholesome macabre humor. Haha.. 7/10
Goosebumps (2015)
I only watched maybe a little more than half of it. It was perfectly enjoyable until the lazy writing of a Jumanji-esque premise and I just didn't care anymore. There must be dozens of books that they could have drawn from to make an actual story, so the writing was just extremely lazy and uninteresting. Maybe it gets better, but I don't see it happening. 4/10.
Strays (1997)
Vin Diesel's movie. I had forgotten all about it and had never seen it. It's okay. Definitely showed that he had some talent, but overall the movie could be a lot better. It's very slow-moving. It is what it is, though, a very low-budget indie drama. 7/10.
Nightcrawler (2014)
Holy shit. Wow. I've been meaning to watch this movie for years, but finally got around to it. Damn. 9/10. (I was a little confused, though: did he kill that cop at the beginning for his watch? That was weird...)
