[b]The Haunted Mansion (2003)

Reasonably fun. Eddie Murphy was amusing.

Corpse Bride (2005)

I didn't entirely pay attention, was tired, but saw some of it... it was charming..

CB was good stuff.

Don't forget Dispicable Me and Megamind (Maybe not the kind of shows you're looking for but at some point see it with them. 🙂 )

I hear Hotel Transylvania is actually good.

I think we've watched all of those with varying degrees of attention, haha.. I might have forgotten to mention Hotel Transylvania. Watched it with them a few weeks ago. It was better than I expected, from what I paid attention to.

Terrifier (2016)

Questionable acting, but a mesmerizing villain and a dreamlike quality that makes it hypnotic. A recommended brutally violent Halloween horror if you're into that kind of thing.

Terrifier 2 (2022)

And the sequel is probably a large improvement on the first, but a slower burn. Solid. 👆

^ Oh, btw. Art the Clown makes Pennywise seem like a sweet little old lady by comparison. Yeeeesh...

The Fall 2006 10/10

Cinematic gem. Great film, great story, great locations, great cinematography. The director uses light to play with the imagination and capture a world of fantasy and magic.

Tarsem Singh. Director of The Cell and Immortals. I'm a fan. I wonder if he's working on anything new at the moment... 🤔

Ah, I haven't seen Self/less yet...

IMDb: : Self/less

He has a fee good fantasy movies under his belt. The cell is probably an underrated movie.

Barbarian (2022)

Really good, but the end got a bit ridiculous. But otherwise very good. Justin Long seemed to branch out a little with his character. So there's that. 7/10

Never seen Pumpkinhead. Worth seeing?

"Pearl" (2022)

Freakin' great. Killer performance from Mia Goth. It's the prequel to X (2022). I believe they filmed them at the same time, and they complement each other very well. Probably go ahead and give it a 10/10.

I saw it 2 or 3 years ago for the first time. Yeah, I'd say it's worth seeing if you're into that kind of thing.

Saw No Way Home. So basically Into the Spiderverse.

Garfield looks good, Toby not so much. San Raimi by contrast hasn't aged at all.

Kind of surprised they didn't give us Ultimate Spiderman 2. I understand this is because of his name not being Peter, but he KNEW Peter.

They say Holland isn't done yet, but when do we get Miles Morales? Feels overdue at this point.

Everything Everywhere All at Once

Call of the Unseen 2022 9/10

Very interesting. Thought provoking. Exceptional. For an independent indi film this is unique even though it has bad CGI, however it is overlooked with the storyline and the imagery. I wish this had a bigger budget and a better director because this could be good.

Black Adam

good film. Don't know what the critics are on these days.

Escape From Planet Earth (2012)

With the kids. It was pretty fun. 7/10.

^^^I remember this. It WAS pretty fun.
Pairs well w. but not as good as, Planet 51.

BEAST

Didn’t realize the first time I watched it Uncle Martin was Murdoch from The A-Team.

He was also not a Martian but I figured that out the first time.

NOPE

Man you really can’t unsee that chimp attack, damn.

Love the MAD magazine cover though. And the Chris Kattan shout out to his Mr. Peepers sketch had me rolling.
