TICKET TO PARADISE

Clooney and Roberts were on point.
I mean, it’s a pretty basic story but they made it fun.

It was nice seeing Billie Lourd in something other than AHS.

Entertaining

Had a bad movie night with a friend again the other night...

In this order...

The Gingerdead Man (2005)

It is indeed as bad as it looks. It somehow took itself TOO seriously, even though sometimes playing it straight is funny. 3/10.

Power Rangers (2017)

Mediocre gritty reboot. Super generic and formulaic. 5/10

Invasion USA (1985)

Chuck Norris had this expression on his face the entire movie. It's a terrible film. A Christmas film, but definitely no Die Hard sadly. It really didn't make any goddamn sense. 4/10, and that's generous.

The Menu (2022) 4/10

It had a promising start. At times you were thrilled and yet there was no hidden surprises, nor did it have enough action to be a thriller. It was very tame and therefore it failed to be remembered or to be a great movie.

The ending was stupid and ridiculous. Yet, tasty!

So far it is good. I like that they brought back Ralph but as a dad. He still looks the same.

BULLET TRAIN

Was pretty good, def. glad I watched it!

Silent Night Deadly Night.

The original is better. Billy punching Santa is classic

Killer Klowns from Outer Space

MIRRORS

A Kiefer Sutherland movie from 2008. I barely remember watching it back then. It wasn’t bad, though, second time around. Ending is still a downer, but whatcha gonna do.

The Infernal Machine.

Excellent film. I suggest you all go see it.

Saw it last night on the recommend.

Found the beginning and middle to be great, Guy Pearce was solid in the roll, good suspense, good amount of "could be this, could be that' mystery, but the end didn't deliver well considering the buildup.

Yeah the 2nd act is definitely the best. Especially up until the restaurant scene. The last few scenes did let it down a bit.

Exactly, the restaurant scene onward it takes a downward dive. Still a good film overall, just odd with the disparity.

CLERKS III

Damn you, Kevin Smith.
