THE FLOOD

I liked it. It was a turn your brain off movie which is fine. Some fun kills. They tried to be too dramatic at times but so did Sharknado so you can’t fault them.

I did keep thinking though, the female lead should have been played by Katee Sackhoff.

Hook (1991)

It was shown at our local historic theater free on a Sunday afternoon so I took the kids. It's been so long since I've seen it that none of the beginning looked familiar to me, but I know that I had seen at least most of it. I may have just forgotten about it over the years. But it's cute.

EVOLUTION

Old movie w. David Duchovny. Kinda funny.

^ i remember that movie

seemed like at the time they were hoping for it to be as big as Ghostbusters but with aliens

Spider-man 2 (2004)

Again, this time with the kids. It's so good.

Sleep Away Camp 1, 2, 3

One was okay. 2 and 3 were garbage

Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)

Watching the 4k transfer it's hard to believe this movie was made in 1981. It looks absolutely amazing. One of the best 4k transfers I've seen so far, at least of an older movie. It had been a long damn time since I saw it and I had forgotten how freakin' phenomenal it is. I look forward to revisiting the others, and eventually seeing Dial of Destiny, though I'm trying to lower my expectations for that one...

BARBIE

I’d love to tell you what I thought about it, but I don’t think I Ken.

Barbie

Really trying to watch Sleepaway camp and it’s ****ing horrible lmao

Watching X-3 Last a stand and it’s wayy better than Dark Phoenix

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)

Showed it to my 6-year-old son. My 3-year-old daughter skipped out before the end of the first act.. haha.. I'm either the best dad ever or the worst dad ever.. 😂

HOW TO SAVE A MARRIAGE AND RUIN YOUR LIFE

A rom com from back in ‘68.
I actually just turned it on cuz it costarred Eli Wallach and I’d never really seen him in a comedic role (he was good of course).

Dean Martin was his usual amicable boozy self, and the hot (even by today’s standards) Stell Stevens was really funny.

DREDD

Man I wish there’d been a sequel to this most excellent movie!

PATRIOTS DAY

I feel bad it took me so long to watch this. It was great!

^^^damn, I was fifteen.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)

My 6-year-old son was loving that tank scene. And he was surprisingly interested in the final sequence with the grail. He even asked me if I believe in god... that surprised me!
