A GLOBAL AFFAIR

Old Bob Hope movie where a baby’s abandoned at the U.N. (Which is international territory), and women from different Countries all try and get caretaker Bob Hope to choose their Country to adopt the baby.

At 61 Hope’s slowed down physically but he can still make w. the one liners.

LAST VOYAGE OF THE DEMETER.

Very much enjoyed it.
The claustrophobic atmosphere made me edgy, and this predatory version of Dracula was interesting to me, it gave me the goose bumps like the Xenomorph in the first Alien movie.

The Popes Exorcist.

Between stretchy Mouth CG Russell Crowe and all of the generic blood puking/crawling on all fours generic horror fodder I thought this movie was entertaining shlock. 6.5/10

Last Voyage of the Demeter 8/10

I liked it, too. I felt like a little more practical effects for Dracula would have improved it a lot. He became a lot less believable when he went CGI. Also some goofy plot stuff kind of damaged it, in my opinion.

Bad movie night with friends was pretty epic last night...

Miami Connection (1987)

The Ultimate Weapon (1998)

The Phantom (1996)

This was actually surprisingly entertaining old-school action, in the style of Indiana Jones. I think the director did some of the Young Indy stuff.

B!tch Slap (2009)

Was ***** slap good?

^^ Wouldn't mind seeing The Phantom come back with a new film

Home: No Hard Feelings (2023)

You see the plot coming a mile away, had some funny moments and you get a full body nude of Jennifer Lawrence, who totally still has it.

Oats Studios

A series of short films from Neill Blomkamp's production studio of the same name.

Some of them are excellent. Some not so much. Some extremely gory and some extremely amusing .

Very much recommend watching them all.

No. Some hot women, but the story (if you want to call it that) just kept showing flashbacks going further and further back (with awful green screen mind you) and were completely incomprehensible.

^^^Yeah okay I agree w. the CGI.
I think for me the biggest drawback was that while I compared Drac to the OG Xenomorph, the human crew of the Demeter wasn’t as engaging to me as the one from the Alien movie.

Troll 1986 9/10

80s gold. Noah Hathaway the kid who played, Atreyu in the Never ending Story, stars as a much older brother in search of his little sister.

Easy Money staring Rodney Dangerfield. Best dialogue in a movie. 10/10

MY BLUE HEAVEN

One of my top five Steve Martin movies. STILL makes me lol all the way through.

I found out both John Travolta and Arnold Schwarzenegger were up for the lead in this movie.

They bowed out to make Look Who’s Talking Too and Kindergarten Cop respectively.

Thank GOD.

Accident Man 2 (2022)

Scott Adkins flicks, was pretty entertaining for what it was.

Red White and Royal Blue 9/10

Good romantic comedy

The Lincoln Lawyer (2011)

My wife wanted to see it. It was good. Gets at least a solid 8/10 from me.

Re-Animator 8/10

Great body horror moments, cheesy but it kept me entertained

Joy Ride 10/10

Rom com friendship movie. 4 asain girls go to China for self discovery and end up finding friendship.
