Just fuken watch it. Fuk it's not bad acting by Timothée Chalamet. He actually played a nice rendition to Wonka, hut it had stupid characters that brought the film quality down. For a kids movie its entertaining.

Me thinks you dont know a good film if it bit you in the ass. Enlighten me, what is a good film I should watch!

Leave the World Behind on Netflix starring Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali, Ethan Hawke and Kevin Bacon.

How best to describe it?

I thought you died. I'm glad to see you are okay

I watched 'Leave the World Behind' last night as well, I enjoyed it. Decent thriller.

Godzilla Minus One

All my life with Walter Boys

7/10

That little sluts got more game then most, first her parents die then she is sent away with 7 boys and turns them against each other.

300 (2006)

It's still pretty fun. The CG blood and green screen maybe hasn't aged the greatest. It's easier to forgive, though, because it's very stylized. The 4k transfer is a bit distracting, very grainy much of the time. But I think it's still a step up from the blu-ray, which I thought was garbage.

Gladiator (2000) Extended Cut

In 4k this film hasn't aged a day. It's still incredible. I'm not sure what's new in the Extended Cut, but it still flows pretty well, I suspect the Theatrical cut tightens up the last act a little, though? 10/10

Yeah, not gonna lie, it was a pretty good pairing for a double feature.

The Family Plan 9/10

Entertaining. Not predictable. Nice action family film

Percy Jackson new show 9/10

First episode was really entertaining and I'd say much better than the movies out there

Percy Jackson Second Episode 10/10

For a Disney show it's pretty good. Feels like a made for TV movie with all the good cgi. I see the similarities to the movie version in the story telling but the actor playing percy is much more good. I hope it continues on the same direction.

Its pretty good so far. Logan Lerman, who played on the 2010 version was a lot older. I'd have to rewatch it and compare but I think it wasn't as good because of the special effects.

In the 2023 version, the actor who's playing him is believable. There are some dark undertones in the filming when it comes to the bad events that have happened in Percy's life.

And the cgi has gotten a lot better it almost seems like a movie.

Leave the world behind. 0/10

Scared me the fuk off! Why would they make movies like this, so dark and twisted. I need to see a happy movie to forget this movie.

I feel like the powers that be are trying to scare people into believing these warped scenarios so that it can fearmonger sociological beliefs and make people paranoid, so that individuals can become radicalized into abnormal situations.

It is the people in power who are trying to manipulate the public into a strategic position of thought. This type of psycho manipulation is dangerous and should be ignore.

I hate this movie for that reason. Do not watch this as it will only make you fearful of current events in culture.

Fast X

The price of family. 10/10

Brilliant Italian film. Wife and husband find out that their kids are lying to not attend Christmas. So they tell a small lie, that they win the lottery and decide to fool their kids that they are now millionaires! The kids are now trying to win their affection to try and get an imaginary inheritance.

The woman and I watched that the other night, too, because I heard some coworkers talking about it. Apparently it was produced by Barack and Michelle Obama. Oddly enough. 0/10 is perhaps a bit extreme, but I definitely had mixed feelings about it. Some good actors and performances, but I didn't care for the director because it was kind of all over the place tonally. I didn't necessarily hate the ending, but it wasn't entirely satisfying, either. I think I give it a 6/10.

National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (1989)

Gets better every year. 😂

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York (1992)

Watched with the wife and kids. Some pretty good fun rehash of the first.
