Did you jump into the future?? 😕 4 just came out!

You just love being correct all the time 😮‍💨

Eat Pray Love 2/10

Lame dumb stupid. Rich lady who has a rich successful life decides to call it quits and leave her happy life to discover herself in 3 countries.

Sicario (2015)

Re-watch. I barely remembered it. I look forward to seeing the sequel soon because I forgot how stonecold badass Benecio Del Toro was in Part 1.

Wouldn't bother. Apart from a very controversial opening scene, it wasn't anywhere near as good as the first one.

You shut the hell up, you Scottish bastard. I'll make up my own mind!

It's always better if I make up your mind for you.

And as such I'll say you'd be better off watching the other 2 films in Taylor Sheridan's modern Western Trilogy.

Hell or Highwater
Wind River.

They're both much better than Sicario 2 which along with Those Who Wish Me Dead are rare misses for Sheridan.

He's come a long way since playing Sheriff Hale in Sons of Anarchy

Sicario Part Deux isn't a bad film though, it's just nowhere near as good as the first as it's mostly just a straight up action movie, where the first had layers of suspense and the unknown factor from start to end.

Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018)

Liked it. Doesn't have the Denis Villeneuve touch, but it does a surprisingly good job of maintaining the tone. A solid sequel. 👆

That opening though. Brutal.

Very true.

That's my one gripe, that whole terrorist, jihadist coming through Mexico angle wasn't really very relevant. I guess a third film might bring that around full circle?

There was rumor that Villeneuve would return for 3, but I think it was just a rumor, sadly.

Ricky Stanicky (2024)
