USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE II (LIGHT SIDE)- Arms Race

Ok can the STAP's attack us still?
If so, relfection

Xeth will move onwards with a Jump.

Xeth is pretty good at this, and rolls a +5 anyway- no frames lost in his jump.

We have a hit on Jelena for 10! She evades much of it out, though.

I am afraid you miss your reflection attempt, Roan. The STAPs, mobile as they are, can hit anything unless otherwise stated.

Rounding the corner, those ahead come out at a wider area, ebhind which a rock corridor gives way to the outer area of the base. The area is littered with creates and cannisters and other such stuff... and a platoon of battle droids is now running into the area!

"Blast them!"

"Roger Roger."

O.O 20!

"Now this will be fun..." Xeth mutters, then turns to his companion. "Delfedd, take 'em down!"

Xeth will blow a Force point to Draw his lightsaber, then Flying Charges past three battle droids. Defensive Leap for defense, borrowing a frame for the next round.

😑

Jelena twists out of the way of the shot just in the nick of time, then proceeds to the corner.

//Sorry cant. out of frames... 😮 i still don't quite get this frame thing.

What it means, Delfedd, is that you don't actually get there until the end of the sequence (that being the case, the droids won't fire at you yet). You are behind the others simply because you were doing more- you left after they did.

Xeth- Defensive Leap has to be away from enemies, so that would move you back to where you were before the Flying Charge; is that what you want?

That's fine with me, as long as I don't have all 20 firing at me.

Unlikely. But it a. means two acrobatic rolls and b. means you'll have to blow frames moving back into the combat again!

How many frames?

Vlad'll do the same.

holy f*ck.....
OK then
Fire's gang, take out the STAP's and the turret, kepp those off our back as were fighting the droids.

Reflection as defence.
"Sunda, Stick with me. I want you to stay close to me and we'll try and get close to them."

again Master sabre throw on 2 STAPs Force Dodge for defence

(Eagle Eye at last turret from behind his boulder) A bead of sweat rolled down Lorn's face as he tightened his grip on his blaster, perfectly lining up his sights with the turrets. "All right turret your out of here" Says Lorn as he pulls his trigger once more

~HIs talking to a turret! 😱 ~

Xeth, you roll evens, +4, +1... three kills! That Flying Charge is a three frame move, the Defensive Leap moves you one frame away so you would have to take a frame to run back.

Xeth has lept into the fray, slashing out all around him as he goes past and easily dismembering three droids!

Roan, you seem to have declined to make an action? That being the case, Sunda obeys your orders and so simply loses his frames- you need to be careful about that.

Marcus, +1 and +1 finally gets it right, and two STAPs go down! The remaining two are too far apart for taretting with one sabre.

A +2 from Lorn blows out the last turret, though really it was no threa t any more if you had just moed forwards.

With the Canyon Path clear, everyone moves on!

And a rather vengeful STAP rolls +9 and hits Marcus! That is actually 12 damage he can ill afford.

Meanwhile, the droids open fire; eight of them fire at Xeth, three on Roan, three on Sunda. They have a skill of 6, though have +2 to hit due to burst fire... and all miss! Roan destroys one with a Reflection.

Note- Keep track of your force powers!

You lost a ton of time moving six frames when you have force powers entirely designed to help you move quicker. Also, those of you with Master Reflection are using the basic version instead. I know you can do better than that!

(kill them FAST)

Unlucky there, Fire- still, the bad rolls have to happen to someone. At least the dodge saved youy three damage.

I can take it, atleast if I get a tad of luck with the battle droids
