USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE II (LIGHT SIDE)- Arms Race

Started by Fire122 pages

(because out of character I (Fire) allow for arguements about this, IC (marcus) would not allow for any arguement about it 😛 I'll wait till TpT and BB have been on if they agree I'll post it IC)

+2 from Lorn, good shot, nailed one!

-2 from Delfedd- made one wobble a bit, but not greatly.

Your first throw goes wild, Marcus; your second one rolss -2. That gets another -2 for there being two targets, which gives you a final roll of 11. That is only four points clear of the STAP, and then you subtract armout... except, of course, lightsabres totally ignore armour, and have two points of Mook Killing Power, so that is still a kill! Not a clean or smooth kill, the sabre cuts out a control cable and the STAP warbles down to its doom, but still a kill!

How hard would it be to replicate Sunda's jump?
OR would Speed be better.
and Is he fighting the STAP's or the Turrets?

(I agree with Fire...)

Speed- useless! Everyone is in the way!

Jump- jut an acrobatics roll.

Who is he fighting- neither! How could he?

Whats the chance of succeding on the jump with master jump?

Whats better, Saberthrow or a gun?

Vlad takes another shot at a Turret.

(Sounds like a plan, Fire...)

Xeth fires his sonic blaster at one of the remaining turrets.

(Seeing as that will put him on frame 10) Xeth will fire upon the damaged STAP after taking the first shot.

Delfedd's going to Throw a rock at a turret.

Jelena will hurl one of her lightsabers with all her strength at one of the newly arrived STAPs. She uses Reflection for defense, and Evades the shot if she is hit (I'll specify how much if I'm hit...)

I'll take the Jump please
reflection

~Sorry for not being on and missing two pages! 😛
Well....I'll follow Fire's plan, and I'll "fire" (no pun intended) on another Turret w/ my Heavy Blaster - again. 🙄 😛~

(Eagle eye from behind the boulder again, when my frames come around again, targettting turret.)

"Everyone who can't throw a sabre and doesn't have a gun follow Sunda NOW! Xeth and everyone else with a gun keep firing at those turrets and follow the others when the turrets are destroyed.
Everyone else, who can throw their sabres, start throwing them at those STAPs"

Follows sundra

No, shooting puts you on frame 9, Xeth, I mentioned this before.

Vlad rolls -2... takes a chink off the armour I am afraid. Xeth rolls +1, and that is a kill!

Delfedd, you roll +1, which certainly dents one! Lurik's shot goes a little wild I am afraid.

Ugh! -8 on your sabre throw... misjudged the distance there, Jelena!

Roan rolls evens on his jump, and is clear to move forwards (incidentally, so can Delfedd, who in this crowded mass is actually in the front). Vilpa makes it also, losing two frames in the process (the kids just aren't as acrobatic as you guys yet)

Bad guys open fire! Gallagher is hit, for eight damage, which as previous asked to, I shall evade out. Lucky he can do that!

I have a hit on Delfedd also, for six damage.

Jelena performs a highly accurate reflection and blows away a turret!

Lorn now fires back, and a +7 totally destroys another turret.

CURRENT SITUATION AT: Fourth Sequence, Frame 10

Canyon Path

Jelena: 9/2/7
Gallagher: 6/0/10
Marcus: 10/0/7
Lurik: 13/0/7
Vlad: 12/0/9
Xeth: 12/8/9
Lorn: 12/0/6

STAPs x4: 0/7
STAP x1: 1/10

Canyon far side slope

Turret x1: 0/7

Corner

Sunda: 6/8/5
Roan: 11/8/4
Vilpa: 7/6/2
Delfedd: 4/6/Framed Out

-----

"Corner" is a placeholder location; it will take you guys six frames to get around the corner that goes to the right (you are on the right side of the canvon, btw) that is after this exposed point, so until the sequence reaches that frame you don't see what is there.

The remaining turret cannot fire at the Corner.

"OK Blaster team start moving out!"
*master sabre throw at two STAPs again*

"You guys move on, I'll take out this last turret, I could do with a little cover though. By the time this blaster has recharged the turret will have opened fire again." (eagle Eye on turret again, from the same spot)

*Yells* "Thank you Lorn"

That's not quite how the continuity works. Three frames is a matter of a few seconds, and that is considered to be several shots from you. Your frame number represents how much time has passed for you, but your firing never stops if you take seevral shooting actions in a row. So basically, you are still shooting from your shot before at the turret at the point Marcus said that, because Marcus hasn't reached the point in time after you destroyed it yet!

(if this was being done in person I would count down the frames one by one and time would be less jumbled... but that doesn't work on-line)

Same result again, Marcus! One rather dramatic miss, and one kill.

(ahh ok, sorry im still learning...)
