Man, you guys take forever on a plan! You can hear the rumble of the hydraulics, Delfedd.

It was a Zeraphrain, Gundark, an unusual feline telepathic species that is often used by the Techo-Union as security agents, hence the subsequent suspicions.
Most of them were killed outright in their suicidal attack on the Jedi. They could have killed you all in the cars (or at least caused you serious trouble and definitely killed the Viceroy), but their shots only disabled your vehicles instead. It wasn't right, at all.
But the eyes of one of them flicked open as you came near.
"Gun... dark..." it said.
"Ok guys, this is what we're gonna do. Vlad you enter from the left side, Lurik from the right side and Xeth if you are up to it you rush in death center along with me. Jelena and Vilpa you are support try to stay out of harms way as much as possible Vilpa. Jelena I trust you will see where you are needed most."
"If there should be droideka's behind these doors me and Xeth will team up on the same droideka killing one at a time while Vlad and Lurik you guys take care of the normal droids. Again do it fast and clean. Kill as many as possible"
Upstairs, you guys burst into the lower part of the control room. The stairs upwards are narrow- one at a time only! The turrets must also be destroyed before they are climbed. This area is small- two frames to get to the stairs. However, it is six frames (more accurately, two lots of three) to climb them.
"Destroy," comes a voice. Mark IIs! Their built-in wrist blasters rotate as they target you...
Lorn and Densk get thrown straight into the action and are amidst the droids. Gallagher and Roan are by the droids and can attack some. Sunda is safe at the back- but Roan failed to direct Delfedd, who is therefore also at the back and can do nothing.
Down below, the others enter the power room- this room is a mass of piping and tanks. This is exceptionally hazardous- the heat from high-pressure chemicals stored in those tanks can strip flesh from bone in seconds, and they won't take sustained blaster fire for long! So the twenty battle droids in here are a pain. The connection is on the far side, and this is a big room- a good 12 frames away at least, with obstacles (in the form of pipes etc.) all the way. No turrets in here though- not designed to be fought in! Here, Marcus and Xeth can go straight into battle amidst the droids. Lurik and Vlad, you can attack the periphery, or attempt to pick your way through the room. Jelena will have to move forwards if she wishes to do anything.

The Zeraphrain reaches into its jacket, Gundark.,
"My payment..." he says, handing you what looks like a small diamond.
A sudden shock runs through you, as you recongise the gem.
"Other worlds will share a similar fate, Kellan Gundark..."
The make-up of these diamonds is unique, caused by a pressured seepage of the remnants of a long-extinct animal species. The jewels, when they existed, all hung from the sidewalks of the Promenade of Freedom, built four thousand years ago to celebrate the liberation of the world it was on from the Sith, during the great Sith wars of old.
The planet's name was Vataan.
"Wahh!" Lorn let's out a battle cry as he lets charges into the room, and is met by surprise when he sees 20 MKIIs in the room, "AHhh, I think pants is the appropriate word for this." Lorn starts to twirl amougnst the droids, hoping to sever a few of their heads. (Twirl, followed by reaction richochet reflection if I get close to getting hit)
Sorry Delf, as I say- you're in no place to act.
(Close to being hit no option, Lorn- a defence is declared in advance of the attack roll!)
You roll -4 and +1. Fighting value of the Mark IIs is seven- it's not huge. Still, that's just the one kill I am afraid.

He smiles.
"Long live the New Order."
And then, he is dead.

Defences are never rolls- they just make the attack roll harder.
And Reflection actually doesn't make the attack roll harder at all,. but DOES mean the attack comes back at you if you miss!
And your convo with Cannes should have made the point of the Mark IIs clear. Like the Mark Is, they are massed footsoldiers, not elite units.
