Umm... Did Doon by any chance tell us the name of this craft and what cargo it's likely to be carrying, or are we on a supposed pick up mission?

You can make up the name (and any names- planet of origin and name of organisation), but it is not carrying cargo.

Tanic, Galder, and I are formulating...

We are sent from the Empire of Pity, based on the planet Geful, who wish to pay their respects to the Serpent with a gift...

They apparently wanted Tanic dead, so we could hand them 'The Lightsaber of a Dark Jedi who had plagued you, and plagued us...'

Maybe hand over Persis' lightsaber?

As you are making such an effort, I feel it is only fair to warn you... the risk of that plan is if you start drawing attention to the name Tanic, someone might check the file and then suss the link.

Then we shall not say Tanic.

Perhaps we could come up with a Jedi Master who harrassed them? Perhaps someone Rand was familiar with that helped him in whatever mission it was that pissed off the Serpent?

I mean, we could say we found this Jedi in our sector, and when he tried to take over partsd of our territory, we killed him.

I guess. how about. We have a prize to give to [the daughter] but we don;t want anyone else to get their hands on it. And then say it's a lightsaber. I mean, it would be a good addition if they killed a Jedi to go with their tablet. Restore ageing glory and all...

As I had Tanic relay, could it be Galder's trophy of Persis' lightsaber that we fork over?

Okay, Tanic gives across the name of the ship as given by its transponder (Surely he knows that).

He then says,
"We have a gift to Mistress Jena from our master. We have been commanded to only give it to her in person. May we land?"

"And who is your Master?"

(You didn't mention the Empire of Pity from the start!)
