USH'S STAR WARS GAME- CAMPAIGN II EPISODE II (DARK SIDE)- In the Coils of the Serpent

Well, if you had rolled a +3 you would have won that round, Tanic. It is firing better than any machine you ever saw, but not totally beyond any reasonable limit. There must be some trick to it, though.

Tanic steps off the podium, thanking the Zodian. He looks around at the crowd, tryign to figure why they had gathered.

Any idea of the trick, Ush?

I dunno, do you?

It seems to have gone from 25 to 27 - so presumably next time it would be 29.

Although, I really hope not. However, surely computers can move faster than humans anyway...

I have no idea!

Not necessarily, else all battle droids would slaughter everyone.

You may want to calculate what others players can fire at.

does that score include the force predictability bonus thing?
the fact the the force tells the user when he the machine will shot

Nope. BTW, the green light tells you when to shoot.

lol....hmmmm,.....what could the secret be tanic 😛

Incidentally, I mis-calculated, Tanic's score is 26 due to Gunslinger. Same deal though.

Lol...

So a green light tells me when to shoot - and the machine controls when the green light goes off? Hmmm....

It's not that basic, is it Ush?

I found that a little hard to understand, sorry. Did you mean I should see what other players could have got?

Well, that is certainly the set-up. The draw begins when the green light shines.

And why did the crowd gather?

Also, is it possible for Tanic to notice if the Rodian presses any buttons or anything.

Oh yeah, he wasn't doing anything.

Just to watch you- the Rodian is quite a showman.

(Was it out of place that the figure had clothing and hair and looked familiar?)

"Takuan, we need to have a group meeting to discuss our findings with everyone, to be sure that everyone is informed...especially about the hallucinations. Rianna and I just suffered them...I have a bruised face and Rianna felt the whip of a neuro-whip. It is very peculiar..."

(Could Rand perhaps find out if any of the other beings in this place suffer such things? Perhaps rove around and see if anyone is fighting imaginary creatures...)

(But, I am also guessing that the Dark Side makes it a tad too real for its own good, and brings up our worst fears...almost like the Fear Room on Dordellus...)

Bingo! It's EXACTLY like the fear room on Dordellus. This damn drug is more than just a halluceinogenic, it's a powerful brain stimulant. It probably doesn't do that much with normal people, but it hypes up your emotional states to the point where it hooks directly into your Dark side powers and triggers emotional extremes.

Except... two things. First, the dose is not controlled. Dordellus was set up medically. If anything, though, that probably means Dordellus was more extreme. But this will me more random. It is also continuous.

Secondly... they were oddly personal... the Dordellus effect raraly provoked conversation. This was almost abstract.

Oh, and unless you fell badly, you never got hurt by seeing anything on Dordellus- that would just be weird!

(of course, only the Kuylen bunch know thos, but they can fill you all in)

"They were definitely very strange...my senses were telling me that the Osokans were real." Rianna says, trying to shake away the headache.

Also, I noticed it scored what I got the first time around.

Is it possible to make my hit score like 25 or 26? Like, by making it a +1?

(make sure you do not miss the explanatory post end of last page, folks)

What exactly do you mean, Tanic?

(Yeah, I saw it)
