Would it help if Rah went into another song?

Rand would like to aid Rah's first song and any other magical songs he breaks into with Leadership and Authority.

What could you possibly do with the Bureau?

The power turns off.

"Very well," says Jena. "So be it." She looks thoughtful for a moment... and then turns the power back on.

"I'll be back in, oh, an hour? I thought I would leave you some time to think on things..."

And with a winning smile, she leaves the room.

"Oh, sure!" says the Compere, anxious to restore the mood. As you are one of these talented new people, he thinks he can skip testing you against anyone... though he asks you to show off your talents on a luckless bystander first.

"Hmm," he says, "I think we have someone..."

(damn rex.......i should've gone with [i] i don't know who the guy is..we were just told to kill bora. you don't have to justify anything in that...we're just mercenaries....i would've had to only look honest....too late now)
Takuan asks the bartender...
"do you know anyone who could get me upstairs?"

"Yeah," he says, "the Lantarnans."

"anyone else?"

"Not really," he says, "all authority really derives from them in the end."

"so there's no person at ground level that has authority to sneak someone in?"

"Heh, well, if someone is 'snuck' in it's not exactly by authority..."

"my point exactly...so..do you know anyone?"

"There's the odd person around who knows guards, can trade favours, and so on... nothing to do with me, though."

Okay, can Gallador use any of his Mind Tricks to help Rah wihout it being too obvious?

How about this- Gallador dances while Rah sings, using less powerful Entrancement effect to make the spectators awed by his pefrormance?

Is Gallador the exotic dancing type?

Well, he looks exotic, and I mentioned from the beginning he is quite graceful, has high Agility..., there wasn`t a Dancing skill availible during character creation, was it?

I am pretty sure we can get some performance between our group, maybe the C types will be helpful, and isn`t Rianna beautiful?

(and Zink, don't complain about Rex bugging you at 2 am...he bugged me until 3:30 😛)

all the singing and dancing seems ridiculous for dark jedi, mates..

on the other hand rianna does seem to have an influence on latarnans..of both sexes naughty

Well Rah being the gracefull acrobat that he is would have probably danced as well... 😉

Agility doesn't really cut it; I am basing this on your social and force power set-up. Rah's background gives me reason to think he can sing (if not perform, as that has to be backed by skills); I can't see anythiung in Gallador's making me think you can dance.

Rianna's just pretty. There are times you can use that but to try and make a pretty dancer out of her will likely send her into a kill-frenzy rage.

Think Frank Sinatra here (that's certainly the sort of area you'll be bumped up to above if you catch notice; bit more rowdy down below). Or, if that is too libellous, then the guy modelled on Sinatra in the Godfather films- cultured entertainment for a room full of killers.

You've got a singer; someone should be a compere; get the crowd into it.

Takuan, if you can find something to offer, then it is apparent that mechanisms exist for bribing the guards (you could Mind Trick pass them easily, but only if you don't want to stay up very long because without official sanction you have no 'clearance' to stay up there). Trouble is, you wouldn't know how to find the right people (Savoir-Faire). But you are still acquiring useful info.
